I have been following him for last 2 years and this guy is very very good bowler. His speed is around 135. He hits the deck hard. He can swing and seam. Beautiful action. I really feel if given opportunity, this can be a success. Your thoughts?
Seen a lot of bowlers bowling in the 130s and swinging it during domestic matches. They end up being hammered in internationals. Need to start investing in proper fast bowlers.
In Test matches and even in onedays if you can bowl around 135 but can seam and swing, you will be very handful. Asif used to do that and Abbas is doing it now. I really feel this guy can be a very good test match and oneday bowler.
Used to think the same. Then spent the last year looking at 130 kph "fast" bowlers getting their butts handed to them.
fair point. im guessing: skilled fast>skilled medium>unskilled fast but its probably as issue of beggars and choosers.
PSL is a fake pathechaar league. The best Pakistani players have not come from it we have seen with time the fake batters are fully exposed within six months whilst the bowlers like Shadab have a shelf life of two years. Fakhar has been half decent player to come out of PSL and even then I’m not willing to give PSL credit because even before that he was the best domestic player in List A and T20. I hope it’s not the same for Hasnain and Rauf.
He has played 18 FC games and has taken 81 wickets, average of 16. If this is not good, i am not sure what is good?
Yeh but everyone else is also averaging low. It's not like it's just Sameen, the dukes ball makes Pakistan batsman life a misery plus Pakistan batsman are terrible.
Nothing player Can't believe players like him, Umaid Asif etc have PSL contracts. I'd rather we go back to 5 teams and have more quality.
so did Rizwan but we all can see how good he is. Same goes for Sameen Gul, PSL is exposing fraud talents.
