Even on the inside I don't think Alexander is a big threat he doesn't really have that punching power IMO.

 

Neither did Julio Diaz. Alexander is a genuine threat. Khan needs to be alert and not slip up.

 

Alexander has beaten the likes of Matthyse and Maidana in the past, he will be a test for Khan for sure. Khan cant go in underestimating this guy, he can box even if he isn't a knockout puncher

I know exactly what you mean but I think Khan has learnt a lot since then. Virgil Hunter has been drumming it into him that he doesn't have the chin to go toe to toe and for his own sake I hope he listens.

 

I am not sure about the Maidana fight cos I didnt watch it but the Matthyse fight had some really bad calls.

Heres my theory, IF khan beats Alexander convincingly. FMJ will not touch him with a barge pole. Could be a stylistic nightmare.
