Are Pakistan the new chokers?

From where you bring this betting thing. No one gives a damn about these odds. In fact I am hearing for first time this. Pakistan were firm favorites in 1996, 1999 even in 1987 also when we bottled against Australia in SF.

 

You are referring to favourites, that is a reference to betting favourite. I keep an eye on these markets and Pakistan have never been favs to win a major tournament.

I get what AP is saying .We basically make the game harder for ourselves and sometimes even lose from a winning position .There's never a straight forward win for us .

 

So according to your theory individuals are at fault on different occasions. The team is made out of 11 individual players and my point is that the team chokes. Now that might be a fault of one player 2 , 3 or more. But in the end people will say that Pakistan choked not the individual players. It is a team game and all should take the blame or praise if they do well.

I've always heard from these experts that Pakistan CAN win the tournament because they know that we have the potential. They also know that we have the potential to collapse at any moment.

This WI loss, did you see any of the experts being shocked that we collapsed? No. Because no one would put their money where their mouth is and actually consider Pakistan THE team to win the cup.

I don't care what Pakistani fans think, we weren't favorites in my point of view, and not good enough to deserve the favorites tag. I still think AP is misinterpreting what a choke actually is.

Pakistan is not choker, but had a bad start which led to change the game outcome in favor of West Indies. The early dismissal can do to any team. Time to move on. In game, losing and winning are part of the game. Don't take it too seriously.
