Taking their cue from their BFFs the Israelis, its looking more and more like Delhi is looking to further their policy of slaughtering innocent women and children, with the latest attempts using weapons banned under the Geneva convention.

unfortunately for them, im not sure they have as much integrated influence and lobbying as the Israelis have when it comes to murdering innocents and playing the victim.

there have been warning for people to leave Kashmir, I think I read somewhere that more troops have been mobilised too.

Call it a conspiracy but I feel like there's a link between IK and Bajwa visit to US and Trumps statement on Kashmir and this recent surge of terrorism. A mutual deal.

Looks like a noon league line, but won't disregard it as rubbish since it could benefit both.
Highly unlikely though as it is modi preparing to divide Kashmir so it would be easier for them to handle and manipulate. Internal Indian politics.
Have a look at the video of Akash banerjee on Kashmir (2 parts) prepared from an Indian point of view and you would know how Indian govt. have made amendments in article 35a that it is almost irrelevant now and just a matter of Kashmiri's pride and sentiments. The hindutva movement want to crush that pride and they are wholeheartedly proclaiming to take revenge of the Kashmiri pundits.
Modi-Shah-Doval sarkar has decided on the offensive stance on Kashmir and Pakistan. They couldnt roll over Pakistan. Can they crush the kashmiri's, only time will tell.
But India is no more secular, far from it, it will only benefit the tag line of two nation theory which has been in shambles in last couple of decades for Pakistan. This era of Modi will be given in future as an example of change in India's nature which was set by their forefather Nehru. Seems like Modi is on course to become their most popular cult leader after Nehru.

That doesn't rule out a deal. Pakistan removes it's support in Kashmir so they can crush the Kashmiris in exchange for some benefit of our Army.

well it looks like the hinduvita extremist government of modi is positioning itself as expected - house arrests, and a change in legislature from the supposed biggest secular democracy:

    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-india-49231619

the most significant move in the disputed region for decades likely to spark major unrest.

Oops. The grave silence of the PM and ISPR makes us wonder the claims made by iZaman.

Let's see how things unfold in coming days. How does Pakistan respond, if it will. Modi has done what he has done.

It's getting more clear to me now. Hafiz Saeed and Maulana Azhar were both detained as well before the US trip on Trumps pressure. Why would Trump be interested in Hafiz Saeed? It is obvious that India had a hand in it.

they arrested them because of the potential designation from FATF which will torpedo economic reforms and rebuilding. that had been on the cards a long time before modi. modi had been trying to do this for months too, its no surprise to anyone who had been watching what he had been doing, I posted on it here a number of months ago. so no, it doesnt seem like the issues are related in that way at all, unless you want it to.

lets not forget how quickly Nawaz whilst trying to save his own skin, risked the FATF designation by throwing his own country under the bus in favour of India, in terms of blame for the Bombay bombings.

Godzilla. You still don't understand. India dare not to do anything stupid as long as they don't have consent from the International community as well as Pakistan.

Pakistan has been silent on this issue for the last few days and I expect a bit of a "drama" soon in the coming days by the government to settle down emotions but it is clear that our army has pulled their plugs on Jammu Kashmir... Fatf US, India are all linked together.. To think of each of the issue as exclusive is naive to say the least.

I dont think so. I think youre seeing what you want to see.

all the headlines ive seen have been commentators on both sides of parliament commenting on this literally non stop. given its a foreign policy issue, from the point of view of the government, SMQ is speaking non stop, theres been tonnes of commentary and complaints about the cluster bombs - where exactly are you looking? not only is there no silence, the commentary is deafening. IK has spoken about it too, as has biloo. since it doesnt concern her dad, however, maryam seems pretty silent, ill agree with you on that one.

im afraid its you who doesnt understand. india dont care what the international community think when it comes to taking action, they shown that time and time again; that is until someone threatens them, and then they turn tail and run like the cowards they are. they are taking policy tips from Israel to occupy and co-opt Kashmir, which is a policy of sticking two fingers up at the international community. the last time they tried it with oil from Iran, the USA threatened them, and they as usual backed down. then of course, our army which you hate, shot down and protected us against attack from their bs Air Force, of course. so no, they dont care what the international community thinks, and they don't need permission to act. this was all contained in the BJP election manifesto, which I dont think they authored upon the PTIs authority.

Scraping of art 370 which will lead to scrapping of art 35a is a bold step taken by Modi. To his credit, when he announced it before the elections it was said that it is a campaign slogan and nothing will happen of it. After winning the elections he has gone ahead with it. Atleast his supporters could say he has done something that he has promised. :p

The consequences can be grave. They have right now held the whole Kashmir hostage. Even the most pro kashmiris are saying it is a betrayal. Hinduvta mad boys do not understand how grave it may be. God forbid India is pushing it's Muslim youth towards something it does not want it to be pushed. They will probably see the results in coming years. The fact that India is doing all this behind the cloak of world largest democracy is huge black spot on democracy.

Agree with this. To be honest, like their strategists, it will in my opinion be a deliberate policy to de humanise to the point where there will be resistance efforts and violent ones in retaliation. That will then be used as an excuse for further settlements and further dehumanisation. The only difference is that Israel is so heavily politically embedded in all the countries that matter than it can sail through these policies. India is not. It does have some economic clout, but not enough shown by the fact that they have even within the last twelve months been put back in the box.

It’s very sad that when a possible route to reconciliation and togetherness was there for the taking, they have instead chosen hate, division and conflict. Ultimately the losers will be the people.

As expected: PM and ISPR have both released statements which compromise of 'flexing their arms' and telling India that if they attack us, we'll fight back. Lol, as if that wasn't obvious.

What we need are statements of supporting the Jammu n Kashmir and how we should be treating this issue as our own issue. (India has attacked us by taking control over a disputed area, what else are we waiting for)

OK so the next conspiracy theory that I believe in is that we will go to the UN but since we forced referendum on our FATA areas recently, we'll be forced to choose the referendum option and a few other areas might also be included in the referundum.

Kashmiris would then choose neither of us and will want independence and a new state will be born aka the Israel of Asia backed by the UN and the US and this will begin the cold war with China and will give the US an independent base for their operations under the label of freedom of Kashmiris.

why has it been radio silence from the PMLN and maryam? normally she's quick to talk about pakistan and policitics when it affects her and her family's money, now this is an issue affecting the security of the country, why has she disappeared?

I hope I am wrong, but IoK might become battlefield & the region will be unstable in coming days . Indian will be supported by Israel & CIA and their puppets like Daesh & Al Qaeda. On the other hand, Pakistan will support Mujahideen & Taliban.

Only two countries will be with Pakistan - Turkey & Malaysia, as per the following source.

excellent speech, and delineates clearly what the issue is. it is a real shame that during such a serious threat, probably the largest the country has faced for decades, there are still political point scoring home grown voices trying to protect dynasties and corruption.

I would suggest to see the whole parliament session to understand how IK speech was taken to pieces. The speech IK gave can be given by any xyz patriotic student. We needed content and IK failed because Pakistan has been beaten badly at the foreign forefront despite visiting the US and other countries.

Watch the rest of the session to see how IK has no answers to major problems and questions rising right now. Even the bill passed has no mention of article 370.

It wouldn't be an exaggeration to say that not an animal moves in Islamabad without it being under surveillance and without the permission of our real government.
How could this happen under the nose of them or is it happening with the consent of them? What's your opinion.

It shows where are their priorities, with the country or to safeguard themselv

But @iZaman wouldnt provide it. Because he only highlights that part of the story which suits his agenda and supports his argument. Which I call "half truth".

Though concern was raised that article 370 wasnt mentioned within the resolution. This was addressed and resolution was modified, but opposition still continued their Jahalat.

India’s Kashmir move ‘undermines’ China's sovereignty: Beijing

China on Tuesday opposed India’s decision to revoke the special status of Occupied Kashmir, because it undermined the country’s territorial sovereignty, foreign ministry spokeswoman Hua Chunying said in a statement on the ministry’s website.

“India’s action is unacceptable and would not have any legal effect,” Hua said. China urged India to be cautious on border issues and to strictly abide by the agreements reached by both countries in order to avoid any actions that would further complicate boundary issues, she added.

The disputed region is divided into Indian Occupied Kashmir, comprising the valley and the region around Jammu city, Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) consisting of a wedge of territory in the west, and a thinly populated high-altitude area in the north under Chinese control.

The Chinese statement was most critical of the impact of India’s actions on the mainly Buddhist region of Ladakh – an area of strategic importance nestled between Tibet and Pakistan, Bloomberg Newsreported.

Just two years after India and China’s decades-long dispute flared up over a remote area of the Himalayas, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s surprise move on Kashmir has inflamed tensions yet again.

Beijing has always opposed India’s inclusion of Chinese territory in the western section of the China-India border, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Hua Chunying said in a statement on Tuesday.

“China is seriously concerned about the current situation in Kashmir, Hua said. “We call on India and Pakistan to peacefully resolve relevant disputes through dialogue,” she said, noting China had urged India to “avoid any move that further complicates the border issue”.

India and China have long had border disputes in Ladakh, which was made a federally administered region along with the move to remove the special status to Kashmir in parliament on Monday.

India tells China that Kashmir is ‘internal matter’

India, meanwhile, told China that the government’s move was an “internal matter”.

The Indian government said Ladakh’s new designation as a “union territory” was “an internal matter concerning the territory of India”.

“India does not comment on the internal affairs of other countries and similarly expects other countries to do likewise,” Indian foreign ministry spokesperson Raveesh Kumar said.

He added that both sides had committed to maintaining “peace and tranquility in the border areas”.

Could be anyone to be honest.

This is an emotional issue. We have to just wait and watch what happens next. Everyone created a ruckus why we didn't down their jets when they entered balakot, what happens few days later was controlled aggression that resulted in optical victory.

This will only hurt India. I have said it is a bold move by Modi, that doesn't mean it is the right one or not a blunder. He has done similar things with demonetization etc which were later termed as blunders. So wait, and watch.

dude you cannot be serious. did you listen to this? that was one of the worst speeches I have heard. total and utter bs. he is claiming that trumps visit can only be measured by a failure to have stopped internal Indian politics? what kind of idiocy is this? that other 'allies' are not coming out in speaking about an issue in a foreign country, and thats a 'devastating failure of pakistan foreign policy'?? that IK - which he insists on calling niazi - hasn't planned for a response??? thats ripping apart the IK speech?

there was absolutely no structure, total conjecture and disjointed irrelevant statements. what is this rubbish? "there are people dying in Kashmir, but how can we go to trump and say we help resolve the issues with the Taliban and them? oh but we do need peace in Kabul, but we are with Kashmir." this doesnt even make any sense. and then at the end he just goes on to say he would do exactly what the government has already announced that they are doing, before a childish naatak of slapping his chest and claiming to want to give his blood for the Kashmiris. I thought he spent the whole of ramadan in London because he was sick? looks pretty solid from that act to me. wonder if his property portfolio is that healthy there too.

honestly, im not going to waste time doing you the courtesy of listening to links you provide if this is the honestly atrocious level of your analysis. you are so consumed with your love of the pmln and hate for Ik and the army that I dont think you can actually tell the difference between black and white.

total and utter waste of time, and a genuinely shit speech by shabaz. why didn't he reference how his brother handed over to india the most powerful propaganda in decades by claiming that pakistan was behind the Mumbai attackjs when he was so desperate to avoid jail he was willing to sell his country's sovereignty for the possibility of help from india to save his wealth?

    total and utter disgrace.

    https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com...mbai-attack-remarks/articleshow/65934110.cms?

and then the next clown to speak up is some effeminate moron reading badly from a sheet because he hasnt got the intelligence, experience, skill or pedigree to speak like a real politician, given he inherited his seat, along with billions of unearned rupees from his corrupt, criminal parents. the content again was utterly vacuous, and a complete wast of time, delivered with some shakespearean training more suitable for a back street amateur theatre than parliament in crap antiquated English in a Pakistani parliament. embarrassing and pathetic.

I think its pretty clear to anyone who went through the unfortunate experience of watching this video that you referenced, who modi would want least to be sitting in the PM seat as his opposite number in pakistan, by a massive margin. IK is so far ahead of these others to any impartial observer its mind boggling. no wonder the opposition benches are so jam packed full of criminal and thieves, they dont have any ability to be anything else.

downgrade of diplomatic ties and suspension of bilateral trade.

will be interesting to see how long the trade works - they should have done this before, Pakistan runs about a 1.5bn $ trade deficit with India on 2017 numbers.

I would have liked to see suspension of all Indian aircraft over Pakistani airspace too.
