Flat tracks when England need it and green mamba pitches for when Pakistan need a phatta.

    Is this random?

If you ask me it's more to do with approach, playing on a green mamba in Odis is actually not the worst thing. The grass gives ball bit of nice bounce and pace onto the bat. Green pitch in Tests is different story but not in Odis.

Good point. Funny how england got two fresh hard flat wickets when they had their must win games.

You saw how England fared on a used pitch v SL.

False. England were way better as a team and made the most out of the pitch against New Zealand. Even on commentary they were saying after the 30th over for both sides it'll be a big difference. England also haven't had anything go their way throughout this World Cup apart from the last 2 games.

Earlier on in the tournament, England were losing due to their own mistakes rather than the quality within the side.

    In a WC, it’s ICC.
And in a bilateral series, the home team.

False. They weren’t much better. They only finished one point ahead of us and we beat them fair and square.

It depends if you watched every single game or not. If each team had same amount of difficult pitches it would be fair. Most guys are talking about Pak only. We had 2 difficult pitches. Against Windies and NZ. Grass doesn't mean the pitch is not good. It's how the pitch plays.

You are forgetting the one against Afghanistan which was Taylor made to suit their spinners.

The discussion was between England and New Zealand. Where on earth did Pakistan come into this?
