So YuppTv Is crap, CricketHD is crap

Not looking good for Saturday so, you will have at least 500,000,000 trying to watch this match if you put both nations together. Time to cry

Trying to watch the World Cup match was the worst, lost count how many different streams I ended up with by the end of the night, or well morning

Man I'd be happy watching the 'don't delay, claim today' advert a million times at the moment. Can't believe one of the Asian channels here in the UK haven't taken on the coverage for the Asia Cup

It's frustrating. With such a massive audience, it is pathetic that the big guns have not bought the broadcast rights.

To be fair, Yupp TV coverage is watchable...so far.

YuppTV hasn't been THAT bad tbh (the bar is low but still). Just needed a couple of quick refreshes yesterday, that's it.

The PS4 app worked perfectly fine. No buffering. Way better than the web version.

Not really. Apart from the Yupp TV feed, they've also got a Star Sports feed as well as a PTV Sports feed. It's your choice whichever one you want to choose.

And tbh the quality is quite good.

And Channel 5 will provide free to air highlights of all the days play/all the matches, 19:00-20:00...for those who haven't got Sky Sports/are at work during the day.

Its a good comm team on 5 (Sky Sports comm team is a give to be awesome), Mark Nicolas, Vaughan and of course...Boycott.

Get a visa for England, buy your ticket, arrive in the UK, rent a house, buy a TV, buy a sky HD box and then subscribe to the sky sports HD package.

    A sofa/chair is highly recommended.

ZEE Network UK has acquired the rights to broadcast the Pakistan and West Indies cricket tournament, kicking off later this month.

The broadcaster was favourite to pick up the rights and this morning, the news was officially confirmed to BizAsiaLive.com. The series being played in UAE includes Twenty20 Internationals, three one-day internationals and three Tests.

ZEE Network UK is yet to confirm, which channel it will broadcast the series on. It is likely to air on ZEE Cinema, like previous cricket tournaments.

The series gets going on Friday 23rd September with the first Twenty20.

Wish it was shown on Eurosport HD instead as it would've been in HD, nonetheless it is going to get shown in the UK is a big thing in itself.

Gotta give it to the Indian channels though despite being a Pak series they go ahead and buy the rights as they know they'll get a lot of subscriptions and make their monies worth.

Pathetic that channels like GEO, ARY and PTV never bid for Pakistan cricket series anymore. I know their broadcasts would be below average but still.

The funny thing is that if you've noticed that the hour highlights they've shown of the T20s is actually in HD.

Popular British Pakistani entertainment channel, Prime TV is emerging as one of the biggest platforms for international Twenty20 cricket leagues for Asians in UK/Europe.

Earlier this year, the channel smashed ratings with record viewership in its 19-year history after the exclusive coverage of the inaugural Pakistan Super League series. Prime TV has also secured the rights of the Pakistan Super League, season two, which takes off in February 2017.

The broadcaster is hoping to replicate the same success with the ongoing telecast of the fourth edition of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL 2016). The channel will broadcast all 46 matches exclusively in the UK/Europe region. The tournament features global cricketing superstars Chris Gayle, Dwayne Bravo, Darren Sammy, Mahela Jayawardene, Kumar Sangakkara, Shahid Afridi, Shoaib Malik, Tamim Iqbal, Shakib ul Hasan and Carlos Brathwaite.

For the ongoing Bangladesh Premier League, Nitin Anand, Elite Media Works states, “We’re delighted to team up with Prime TV (Sky 792) this year as our media partners in United Kingdom and Europe. Top class T20 cricket in a carnival-like atmosphere has proved a hit with fans everywhere and we expect the 2016 tournament to be bigger and better than before.”

What are people's thoughts on the BT Sports coverage of the cricket here in the UK?

I'm quite impressed. Doing a decent job. Clear HD picture is always better than the Zee Cinema picture

Yes pretty good. Vaughan is very good as a pundit but Swann seems like an obnoxious little **** and borders on racism the way he ridicules waqar's english. But having a Pakistani at the ground's view (waqar) is also a nice touch by BT

I am surprised Sky haven't fought harder for Aus home series rights after investing so much in their cricketing coverage which is as good as it gets.

BT also have the next ashes series. Another blow to SKY
