Any fans here? I had watched the complete 5 seasons on Netflix. Gotta say one of the best series I ever watched. And I was pleasantly surprised at the caliber of Turkish actors & actresses. Some of them are really World Class. Never knew that they have such great actors.
Also by watching it I had learned too many Turkish words and even some sentences. My friend @KingOfDoosra will be definitely interested in this series.

I think imran khan ordered PTV to dub this in urdu, it is in process. Just wait for the urdu dubbed version.
Watched the first episode few weeks back. The challenges to watch this series are: 1) It's too long 2) Reading subtitles all through it 3) Beautiful actresses mashAllah... main behk sa jata hun
Excellent series. I've only watched 2 and a half seasons of this but what an amazing display of Turk-Islamic heritage Are you watching the follow up to Diriliş Ertuğrul? It's called Kuruluş Osman, it's about Osman Ghazi RA, the founder of the Ottoman Empire.
You should watch Payitaht Abdülhamid! It's about Sultan Abdulhamid II's life. This series shows how the Osmanli Khilafet fell, how Israel was formed etc. I have watched 3 seasons of this and I can safely say its much better than Ertuğrul. Gesendet von meinem SM-G925F mit Tapatalk

Don't care what anyone says, this was a masterpiece. So awesome to watch a respectful show that incorporates Islam in a positive way and not to mention, you can actually watch with the family!
i think the urdu dubbed version is being aired on ptv or somewhere since there is a surge in people watching this in pakistan in last week.
Finished this last week. Brilliant watch. 90% of it is fiction and you notice a lot of similarities in the story of each of the 5 seasons but it still keeps you hooked. Followed it up with Rise of the Ottomans of which I have watched 4 episodes so far. It is also well made but leaves a lot to be desired as far as character development is concerned.

It is the same and continuation of Ertugrul. Some of the characters are continuing also like Bamsi & Selcan Khatun, Abdur Rahman Alp etc.
What AP said Also, Ertugrul was a production of TRT. Kurulus Osman is a production of ATV I think. So naturally you will see a bit of a difference.
Watch Yunus Emre aswell. Not an exciting series in the same sense but more about Sufi Islam, battle of the nafs etc.
There is a series about Imam Ahmad b. Hanbal rh, which has been dubbed into English recently. You might enjoy that one. It's not Turkish but Arabic.
read somewhere PTV made quite some money by airing drilis ertugrul. Imran khan is such a good marketeer not just in cricket.
