I see Worcestershire got the best buy in Saeed Ajmal, i think they will go far with him.
The Finals last year was at Edgbaston for the T/20's Involving Razzaq and Afridi. I know my brother and Cousin went down, i would have gone but didn't have the time.
If there is a good game on here this year i might just pop in.
I don't think many will travel for Finals day all the way in Cardiff this year though.

You looking to pop in at any game yourself chandtara bro?

strange that everybody else regards JK as a t20 specialist and he isnt even in the t20 intl team

considering his record in srilanka is class and thats where the t20 wc will be played

Thats the first iv heard on that, will keep an eye on that one. the above names i have posted have been the ones that have been confirmed so far. I think the LV County championships is in its 3rd or 4th round of games but no Pakistani player has represented as of yet.

Really would have liked to see some Pakistani batting talent in the counties. Guys like Umar, Asad, and Azhar could really benefit.

Inswinger I agree it would help them a lot, not only with with their batting technique, but also their attitude and temperament.

I doubt it. English counties usually sign Pakistani bowlers but they never really go after the batsmen.

Happy to see Rana sahab in there. Hope he, like all our players do well this season. Although I would agree with Inswinger, would be beneficial if our batsmen were involved in the mix too.

Junaid Khan won’t be returning to Lancashire

Junaid Khan won’t be returning to Lancashire this season.

Lightning had signed the Pakistan seam bowler for the Friends Life t20 campaign and the second half of the LV= County Championship.

However, Junaid was last week called into Pakistan’s Test squad for the forthcoming series in Sri Lanka, which clashes with Lancashire’s T20 campaign.

And the Pakistan Cricket Board have today confirmed the bowler, who had such a major impact at Old Trafford last season, will now be unavailable for Lancashire.

However, the blow has been softened by the recent signing of Ajmal Shahzad on loan from Yorkshire until the end of the season.
It leaves Lancashire with an open slot for an overseas player in the T20 to join Pakistan’s Yasir Arafat.

South African batsman Ashwell Prince, who at the moment is only scheduled to play in the CB40 and County Championship, could be one option.

Saeed Ajmal is not playing for Worcestershire this year, Sohail Tanvir has replaced him.

Counties need to sign up some of our guys. Umar Akmal, Shafiq, Azhar & Shehzad could have benefited from this immensely. They don't even have to play, just being around the team environment would be good.

why would a county want to sign anyone of those players? Umar Akmal fair enough is a good T20 player and might be a cheap option but the others? if you were a county coach would you really bring in those players and think it would give your team a better chance of winning? of course our players and any young international player would benefit from playing english county cricket but its not a training ground and they are not thought of highly enough to warrant a place, there are countless others i would pick before those names.

    This.

I don't want them to play club or FLT20 rather 4-days English county. It will significantly help them.

However, a lot depends how good you play. County team look at your international performances as well. If Azhar Ali manages to have a good average then he'll be able to land a county offer but I seriously doubt Umar Akmal will land anything apart from a T20 deal considering how he plays.

So Rana was horrible with the ball (0/56 off his 4 overs) but hit an unbeaten 19 off 9 balls as Derbyshire beat Lancashire in a rain affected game

Razzaq off to a pretty poor start for Leictershire. 5 off 9 while batting and then 0/10 off his 2 overs
