Google to be banned in Pakistan if it doesn't clean up YouTube

Google makes their money via ad revenue, so they'd want to avoid the ban if they can help it somehow.

Also of I am not wrong Google spends least least on Pakistan, doesn't even have an office here and works from uae I believe. So why would they want to loose these 500$ million without spending much.

 

They wouldn't. However, to block those pages would require new software which would cost them.

Other than that, Pakistan seem to be asking for complete removal and that's just not happening

Yar lot of people make some money with Google ads, lots of students I know help their tuition fee etc. Banning Google is not as easy as YouTube because IT community will make a huge uproar as it will effect their businesses in many many ways. I don't see Google getting banned.

Also, it was recently discovered that Facebook have an arrangement with Pakistani government regarding banning some content on their website for Pakistani users.
