Their bowling has been the best in this tournament so far, the spinners are spinning the ball, flighting it beautifully, their medium pacer is at least getting the swing on the ball early on if nothing else. The batsmen are on song and Sharma and Kohli have looked pretty classy and confident so far. They look good in the field as well, especially Jadeja.

That's what you want from your team all the time.

It always happen the team that play flawlessly in World cups fall at the final hurdle. I hope both India & Pakistan reaches the final of T20 WC and Pakistan breaks their hearts in style.

    Agreed. They are playing magnificently.

There is an advantage to this for the opposition though. Remember when Sri Lanka go to the final ( when Pakistan won) their middle older was severely undercooked due to lack of exposure. Once we took out Dilshan we had the whole team on the ropes.

India may find themselves in a similar situation.

India has played well because of their bowling, usually it's the bowling that lets them down, their batting as we all know is brilliant. But exactly as DeadlyVenom said the middle order hasn't been exposed, you can relate back to indias series against Pakistan in 2012-2013, as soon as the top batsmen were out there was no other batsman who stood and batted other than MS Dhoni

Off late, Indian bowling is doing as great as their batting and they look too tough to beat, lets hope they have one poor day waiting for them.

P.s: Champions trophy last year was the worst fixed tournament ever, I mean it was so obvious.

They had won every toss till now in the tournament. They will surely be tested defending a target.

India is becoming a team for the big stage of late. WC 2011 then Champions trophy 2013. They were the best team in both by a mile and look to be doing same in this cup. Game vs Aussies will be a big test but got a feeling India will be unstoppable this tournament. Their one weak link (bowling) is winning them games now. Good on em

As an Indian cricket fan-I welcome this comment. It is difficult for me to explain my situation. On one hand I feel happy at these facile wins that India is notching up. But as fan you almost feel this is too good to be true. Not in a single game was India under pressure. There is this anxiety that how will India react if a team manages to put pressure on us.

What happens if Kohli fails? In all the 3 wins Kohli played a key role. Dhoni until today's game did not even get to bat. All of this is made possible by Indian bowlers unusually good performances.

I think this is also a very pertinent point. If you look at the 3 matches and the scorecards of India's opponents--its amazing how similar they look. All the 3 scored between 130-140 runs and India chased those scores without any sense of urgency. How would India cope if it had to bat first in the knock out games? That would be interesting to see.

One of the reasons I feel confident is --drawing from history--once India reaches the knock out stages they tend to do well. Either we get knocked out in the first round or we seem to win the whole damn thing :) . I hope the latter is the case.

I wish India all the best and hope to see very entertaining cricket in this World Cup---which by the way has been very exciting and riveting.

From their first match India has been unstoppable. Their bowling knows it's limits and bowls to plan and their batsmen are class. What they've done is to prop up their bowling, which was their weakness, they've included specialist bowlers, not batsmen who can bowl. Dhoni has led from the front, always backing his players to perform and has been a true inspirational captain. Now let's compare that to out team. We have compensated for our weak batting by including experienced failures and looked for bowlers who can bat. Hafeez is anything but inspirational. His actually delusional thinking he's still a top order batsman. India clearly have a great te and I'm sure they'll be the T20 champions. They've worked hard and have always put the team first, they deserve the cup. As far as we go, we deserve what we got at the hands of India which was a thrashing. There is a lot more of where that came from if we continue down this path.

This tournament seems very similar to the 2009 one, in that edition it was Sri Lanka and South Africa who were easily beating every opponent, like India is doing now . But we all know what happened when they came across us in the final stages.

InshaAllah something similar will happen this time around .

India's cup to lose. They are the best team in tournament so far. I reckon they can win this tournament staying unbeaten and take peaking too soon out of the question. Kohli and the rest of the batsman are in deadly form. And Bowlers seem unstoppable

if u have noticed they are winning by chasing only, wait for the time when they bat first and post score under 160 and i will see how they can defend it !!

I think they could also defend a target like 160, when you see that kumar gets swing , mishra
spin, shami pace etc., they could trouble the batsman and put them under pressure. India have right now a balanced bowling unit, which you can see on their last performance

When its all that easy and you are not made to work hard for a win and when knockout stages come and the tides are against you at that time shit hits the fan.

India has looked like the form team in this tournament no one has come close to beating them. SA on the other hand have won quite a few close game , nail biters which is so unlike them. Either way i think one of these two might lift it this year.
