Kohli is on his way to overtake Graeme Smith as the most successful Test captain who has 53 Test victories under his belt.

P.S. Under Imran, Pakistan lost a Test to minnows of that time Sri Lanka, a team that won just 2 Tests in the entire 80's.

 

He beat India in a test series for the first time I believe, and also never lost a single test against them as a captain. And averaged 70 with the bat and 23 with the ball. Dunno what that made India if Pakistan couldn’t even beat minnow SL.
