I rate fakhr's temperament and natural ability. He does have good ball sense and timing. Also, I didnt know how good he was under pressure. But my qualms on his technique remain.

On Junaid, well it aint going to last long.

If someone is thinking that Junaid Khan chucks then he should check his basic knowledge of the Cricket game.

He isnt chucking as much as he used to, hence the drop in pace from 2012. However, he still straightens it.

It is a lot more difficult to call pacers due to their fast arm speed. Also, the jerk doesnt appear as blatant due to his slender arms and loose sleeves.
And he doesnt chuck on every delivery these days. In fact, the straightening has generally reduced now which is why his pace has dropped.

He has been bowling 83-87MPH that is by no means slow?

 

It is way slower compared to his speeds in 2012/13 when he used to hover around 140-146

 

I think he is bowling quite well. Is getting that 'zip' which was lacking after his injury when he just looked toothless and bowled cannon fodder

 

so a slow down after four or five years you know is because of throwing action and not age or technical adjustment for accuracy? how do you know that?

in those photos, despite the bent elbow before delivery (which is irrelevant), before his delivery his arm is dead straight. maybe thats why the world of cricket, with all its umpires, cameras, competitions, referees, broadcasters and so on haven't called him, and you with your pc and freeze frame, have.

 

Arm upon delivery and release is dead straight hence cannot be classified as a chuck

 

Lol, at the release even the worst chucker would have a straight arm because that is after all the extension has been done and the torgue produced from the elbow bend executed in the action.
If anyone does understand how fast bowling works, he will know the reason why junaid has slowed down.
Notice how he has even stopped going around the wicket these days and does not load his arm back anymore like he used to when going for the yorkers.

He just does not have a strong enough core to get a full extention of his bowling arm and generate pace purely from arm speed and the wrist.
Even his throwing technique bears evidence to his weak core where he is unable to manage a fully extended arm.

It is very relevant if you bend and then straighten it, which Junaid does.
