I just can't understand the fuss about Fawad Alam not getting selected. I mean... c'mon have we not had enough of these youngsters scoring tons of runs in first class cricket and seen many domestic bullies over the years? Many like Sami Aslam made it to international level and killed all hype around them. But nobody is giving attention to the guy who was home trained right to achieve greatness from the days of infancy and nurtured to take the helm of Pakistan international team by none other than the greatest batsman Pakistan ever produced. Unlike Fawad Alam who had just been scoring some runs in last 8-9 years.... Faisal Iqbal has been mistreated since the early 2000s!!!! Can you believe that somebody being ignored for almost 15 years now? Have you already forgotten his match winning innings of 139 against India in 2006? And that ODI century he mastered against Zimbabwe (don't ask me when, because its not mentioned on wikipedia for me to give references here). I won't say anything else... just get to know of all the injustices right from the horse's mouth himself here: Somebody posted a photo of Sarfaraz having chai at a dhaba few days back and everybody melted that oh look at our simple down to earth kaptaan but nobody has a soft heart for the real Karachiite posing along some local gaaye bhainsein? How biased one can get? Scoring 20s and 22s on yo yo tests can be done by any professional athlete serious about his career these days by training at indoor gyms of NCA but have you seen anyone going all out in scorching sun and humidity of Nazimabad and sweating his heart out? I never imagined a bhanja of an ATG batsman would go to these limits! Only a gem of a cricketer can achieve such heights and now I know why PIA used to have a slogan "Great people to fly with" because Faisal Iqbal used to play with them! Use his experience while its still on offer. After all Salman Iqbal saw something in him and made him the batting coach of Karachi Kings for a reason... he has worked closely with Mickey already and understands what it takes to do well on international levels. CJP vows to get the country's justice system in order but what about the true justice to all such talunts who have been wasted due to heights of ignorance and nepotism? Where is the #JusticeForFaisalIqbal?
