    Ok so it was not a LBW, but I could have sworn I saw an inside edge. They just showed the hotspot just once. Why ?

    These commies quickly buried the hotspot, I find it hard to believe not one of the 3 raised this!!!

    I missed this, but is the TV umpire allowed to consider an edge when the review has been called for an lbw?

    yes, once the review is called he has to consider everything. because all the players did was appeal, whether it was for inside edge or lbw you cannot tell.

    That's a good point vegitto but I was under the impression that a review is strictly to consider the decision made by the umpire and if that's the case then the TV umpire cant give out for an edge on an lbw referral.

    However if what you say is correct then this has to be one of the rare instances in ICC history where common sense has prevailed over incompetency!!
