unprecedented exposure for this massive injustice and slaughter carried out by the Modi government and its lapdogs. No wonder all the Indians and their Pakistani friends hate Imran so much. this will certainly turn up the Bunsen burner under their seats.

LONDON: Stressing that the right to self-determination is a basic right of the Kashmiri people, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi said on Monday India which claims to be the world’s biggest democracy has been involved in human rights violations in held Kashmir.

Addressing the International Kashmir Conference here, he thanked the All-Party Parliamentary Kashmir Group (APPKG) for raising voice against atrocities being committed by the Indian forces in occupied Kashmir. “The group brought to the fore human rights violations in held Kashmir.”

“Human blood is being spilled in occupied Kashmir. The Kashmir valley is burning as the people are scared,” the foreign minister said. “Everyday reports of rape and killings come from held Kashmir.”

He said India has held the Kashmiri people hostage and occupied the area which didn’t belong to it. “Why India is carrying out genocide against the entire Kashmiri generation? Why the country claiming to be the world’s biggest democracy has imposed censorship?”

Qureshi said the right to self-determination is a fundamental right of everyone. “The entire Kashmiri generation is being oppressed,” he lamented.

Earlier today, the Corps Commanders of the Pakistan Army expressed solidarity with resilient Kashmiri brethren on the eve of Kashmir Day, said the military’s media wing.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the 218th Corps Commanders’ Conference presided by General Qamar Javed Bajwa at the General Headquarters reviewed the geo-strategic environment and security situation of the country.

Yet another sook about Kashmir which no other country will care about.

And once again as expected, not a squeak about the treatment of Muslims in China where they are banned from fasting during Ramzan, cannot even grow a beard etc., but Kashmir somehow needs everyone's attention. Sadly, the world now knows this game. Give me a shout if any country even issues a statement on this.

On the other hand, everyone should turn a blind eye towards the Pak Army systematically eliminating the Pashtun and Balochi population. LOL.

And before I forget, this Shah Mehmood Qureshi guy needs to read the UN resolution as well. Now even educated officials from Pakistan are making a fool of themselves on international forums :fp

In a first women in Afghanistan march in solidarity with Kashmir

Srinagar: In a first a protest march was held in the Afghanistan capital city Kabul in solidarity with the people of Kashmir.

Multiple media reports said that scores of Hazara and Tajik women marched the streets of Kabul raising slogans in favour of Kashmir and against India.

The reports said that the protesting women denounced the killings in Kashmir. “They were also carrying banners and placards inscribed with slogans in support of freedom struggle of Kashmir,” the reports said.

They demanded that the genocide of innocent Kashmiris and blatant violations of their fundamental rights be stopped.

Pertinently, Pakistan today observed “Kashmir Solidarity Day” to express support with the people of Kahsmir. Several programs were held at various places and cities around the world including in Greece, London and other places.

I dont care about Pakistan diplomacy on this one. Nor do i think this is a muslim issue.
You can simply not compare Kashmir with Balochistan or supposed chinese oppression on muslims in their country.
0.8 million Soldiers in J&K, 1 soldier for 12 people. Highest ratio of army for people. And i am not even talking about the human rights violation. Please, for the love of people, whome indian's claim to be their own, start acknowledging the mistakes so we can somehow find a solution to this madness. Kashmiris have the right to live like any other indian or pakistani.

Ok, so these protests in UK are really troubling India.

UK rejects India’s request to cancel Kashmir caucus

The United Kingdom categorically refused India’s request to cancel an event highlighting human rights violations in occupied Kashmir.

The event is scheduled to be held at the British Parliament.

According to India Today, Indian Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Raveesh Kumar said New Delhi had taken up the matter with the British government.

“We have taken it up with the UK very strongly. We hope that they will understand our objections to the proposed conference and take appropriate action,” said Kumar.

“As a friendly country and as a strategic partner, we hope that the government of the United Kingdom will address our concerns which we have explained to them on the proposed conference.”

Blaming Pakistan for ‘duplicity’, the Indian official said, on one hand, Islamabad talked about peace but it was “working together with forces which are pushing or fermenting anti-India sentiments”.

The event is expected to be attended by Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi, who is scheduled to travel to the British capital on those days.

Thrashing the hopes of the Indian government, the British government asserted that it will not interfere in the matter.

“The United Kingdom Members of the Parliament are independent of government,” said the British High Commission spokesperson in New Delhi. “It is for the individual members to decide who they meet and for what purpose.”

The meeting is being organised at the House of Commons by the All Party Parliamentary Group on Pakistan (APPG-Pakistan) that comprises MPs from the Conservative and Labour Party.

It will be followed by an exhibition in London. The APPG-Pakistan’s event aims to “highlight the centrality of Jammu and Kashmir dispute and the grave human rights violations against the Kashmiri people, by India, which are being widely condemned and need to be immediately stopped,” said a FO press release.

its true, it is foolish to compare Kashmir, an occupied territory with internal skirmished a fraction of the intensity inside a country. what you can compare Kashmir to is Palestine though. both occupied by oppressive military force, slaughtering women and children like the filthy cowards that they are. with point to china in one case or Rwanda or basically anything to deflect attention rather than deal with it - its a very common and cowards tactic for people ashamed to admit the inhumane apartheid that they enforce.

its no wonder the two countries share so much together, swap intelligence, military and industry. the most murderous nation on the planet with more un resolutions against it than any other, best pals with the indians. what a surprise.

"Give me a shout if any country even issues a statement on this." what an absolutely disgraceful sentiment. as if the blood of children has no value unless 'any country even issues a statement on it'. disgusting sentiments.

Kashmir is disputed on both sides of the border, not just India. And this is something that you and most other Pakistanis don't get.

First get out of PoK as per step 1 of the UN resolution before pointing fingers. The ball is in Pak's court. If they are serious about Kashmir then they will follow the resolution. They are not and the world knows why.

It's utterly hilarious to see Pakistanis cling onto the UN when it comes to pointing out that Kashmir is disputed land. But when asked why their army don't follow the UN resolution on Kashmir which is in place since 1948, they run away.

No amount of whinging on forums is going to change anything unless you initiate step 1 of the resolution. The Pak govt/establishment knows it, but the gullible awaam don't.

Which army in the world will not gun you down if you decide to attack them? Stop playing victim with this women and children nonsense.

Why are the children/grandchildren of Yasin Malik/Syed Geelani/Hafiz Saeed not on the streets protesting? Are they fighting for the Kashmir cause from their cozy homes overseas?

And there is nothing called IOK. Read history.

Also you too never cry victim or blame anyone other than the Pak army for the situation in Kashmir. They are the ones because of whom the plebiscite is not happening.

Got a silent burial too because she wasn't a scum like Burhan Wani.

Mohan's biggest nemesis - Pakistan Army and ISI and he wouldnt hesitate to cook up any story to prove it.

For nth time, your army is committing mass slaughter in IOK.

Your army has committed and still doing human right abuses in IOK.

Your army is responsible of mass graves in IOK.

Pakistan army is fighting civil war which is funded by your RAW and NDS. They are getting ride of filthy, heinous terrorist funded by RAW & trained in Afghanistan.

Its very typical response from you, whenever somebody points all these issues of IOK, you start pointing figures towards Baluchistan.

If Pakistan army would be doing mass killing like yours, then Manzoor Pashtun wouldn't be roaming freely.

So Pakistanis will blame anything and everything under the sun except their army who are not allowing the plebiscite. How cool.

You can cry all you want about these mass graves and murders, no country (including your birader Islami mulks) has or will ever care about these fake crocodile tears. The onus is on you to put an end to it. If you are so bothered then why is the UN resolution still waiting to be acted upon for the last 71 years?

The fact is the Pak army wants to keep the Kashmir flame burning, else they become irrelevant. How hard is that to comprehend seriously? They lose out on money if the Kashmir issue happens to get resolved or if both countries are in good terms.

Why do you think while your foreign minister was in Delhi for Visa normalization talks, 26/11 happened in Mumbai? Why do you think when Indian diplomats were in Pakistan, Uri/Pathankot happened? Connect the dots ffs.

yes please connect the dots, how does it point towards pakistan military and not indian military?
Pakistan army is the establishment of pakistan, almost everyone accepts it even the foreign governments. It has a role in afghanistan and the borders b/w pakistan afghanistan. It is heavily engaged in that area. it doesnt need kashmir to keep running.
on the other hand indian military is engaged mostly in kashmir. you tell me which one would need the kashmir flame burning?

Kashmir is the Pak Army's cash cow. They live off it.

Without a core "enemy" (India) and a core "dispute" (Kashmir), how will they fool the awaam and siphon off their tax money?

Pakistan's GDP is 10% of India's while it's defence budget is more than 25% of India's. Why? Only for their Afghanistan role?

As i said they are the establishment now, nobody can dare question them in Pakistan anymore. What you are saying have been true 25-30 years back, not anymore. Their percentage of budget is not even talked about in media. They are the holy cows and they dont need Kashmir to live off. Infact, it is true that since the american war in Afghanistan, they have realized that they can and have made more money out playing games in Afghanistan rather than in Kashmir, so it has already gone into the background since quite a few years now. You dont see it getting the coverage as it used to get when we were growing up. No kargil like incidents since musharraf.

On the other hand Indian army doesnt have the same say in India. You see indian army supposed revenge shows to please its people. Pakistan is the only enemy they can play with and they need it to buy their toys and make money out of foreign deals. its business bro.

It is upto India to agree to a solution for Kashmir, and they have been ignoring it since after the Musharraf time. It is probably because no indian leader have the balls to get a political consensus for Kashmir, so they let it burn. it is a very unfortunate situation and only kashmiris living on the indian side are facing the wrath.

The resolution is in place for 70 years. It clearly says once Pak army gets out of PoK, India will descale it's troops and then the referendum will take place. What exactly does India need to agree to now? You really think they will go against the UN and thereby ruin their image in the international community?

Yes I agree it is an unfortunate situation, but having said that, let us not kid ourselves. There are zero issues in Jammu and in Leh/Ladakh. This "agitation" only exists in the valley. Now how much percentage of Kashmir is this valley? Hardly 10, max 15? Why would the government listen to their "Azaadi" pleas, especially when the Pak army does not want to vacate PoK? If I start shouting that my house or colony should be declared a seperate country, I will only be making a fool of myself.

Both Pakistan and India understand this. Your ex PM Shahid Khaqan Abbassi has said that "Azaadi" of Kashmir is a myth, it will never happen. That is a very practical view and it is high time Kashmiris and Pakistanis also get this into their heads. The plebiscite will only decide whether Kashmiris want to be with India or with Pakistan. But for that to happen, the Pak army needs to implement the first step of the UN resolution.

Yes he did say both sides, but it is hard to understand what India can do to expidite the referendum even if it wanted to. The first step is supposed to be taken by Pakistan as per the UN resolution.

And did I hear Pak officials being sent to China for this Kashmir thing? I mean LOL you even gifted a part of PoK land to them. Was any plebiscite held there before it became a part of China? Was the right of self determination given to the people staying there? Why this hypocrisy now?

And Iraq? They will keep their own cold war on the back burner and listen to your Kashmir pitch?

The way you claim that IOK is your attot aang, Pakistan believe Azad Kashmir belong to them, people of Azad Kashmir dont have any issue with that and there are no violence (unlike IOK), so I dont think Pakistan will ever backout from Kashmir - we had this argument countless times before too - so whats the point of doing it again?

And whichever Gov comes, they form Kashmir committee as far as I know, and intend it so highlight issue on diplomatic fronts with other countries. Rauf/Amir also said that incompetent people have been part of this committee in past and they botched up the task, however, check post fourth post in this tread. This is ideally Pakistan wants to bring this issue up as per Shah Mahmood.

FYI - btw (I know you wouldnt like it much).

India on multiple occasions had tried to subdue Pakistan’s diplomatic ties with other countries and India’s failure to isolate Islamabad diplomatically is a win for the country.

To argue or not argue is upto you. All I am stating is the UN resolution is in place for 71 years and Pakistan have not initiated it's first step yet. What is India supposed to do then?

It doesn't matter if PoK is peaceful or not, it is disputed land. If India allows non Kashmiris to settle in Kashmir and allows them to buy property in Kashmir then this so called struggle will be nipped in the bud.

And no wonder Pakistan will never back out of POK. All these cozy freebies your army and officials are enjoying from your tax money will cease to exist then.

The diplomatic part of your post didn't make any sense because:

    1. Such conferences happen every year so I don't know how this particular one is a grand success.

    2. Pakistan hasn't got any country other than China which will be on it's side in the event of a full blown war. So it's not like Pakistan is not isolated.

Diplomatic part doesnt make sense, lol.

Actually what doesnt make sense is your refusal of International conference in British parliament on Kashmir Solidarity and OIC condemnation on wicked terrorist act by Indian forces in Indian-occupied Kashmir.

But its alright, whatever makes you feel good.

Oh and btw, unfortunately for you, Turkey has clearly supported Pakistan stance for the Kashmir issue. So its not only China as per your claim.

In a diplomatic victory for Pakistan against India, Turkey has clearly supported Pakistan stance for the Indian Occupied Kashmir .

Disgusting by UK government to support rebels who used armed violence and terrorist acts to hurt a democratic country on the orders of the PM of a failed state. Instead, Imran Khan should be banned from the UK and sanctions put on the Pakistan government, until this dictator is thrown out.

Yup, no comparison, Kashmir where democratic rights are given compared to Balochistan where people are killed and called terrorists.

Kashmir where Raja agreed to join India, compared to Balochistan where Khan of Kalat was forced to accede to Pakistan.

Failed Nation under Imran is causing terrorism

I heard nothing but blabber, first prove Balochistan is disputed land then do all your whining and cheat beating "Redix".

And "Kashmir where democratic rights", where did you pull this from?

And as for Maharaja, he signed an Instrument of Accession, handing over control of defense, external affairs and communications to the Government of India. He never dish out Kashmir to India, which is IoK.
