Lahore Qalandars defeated Quetta Gladiators with 108 runs in 16 overs with 8 wickets remaining in the 17th match of Pakistan Super League (PSL) on Wednesday in Dubai

Quetta Gladiators delivered a dismal performance in the first innings setting a low target of 107 for Lahore Qalandars to achieve as they were all bowled out at 106.

Nepal’s Sandeep Lamichhane playing for Qalandars was the shining star in the match having taken four wickets of the Gladiators' top order with his googlies that were put to excellent use bowling out Shane Watson, Rilee Rossouw and Umar Akmal.

On the other hand, Sohail Tanvir on strike took things slow in the first innings, sprinting through to get byes so he could return to strike.

AB de Villiers delivered a good performance for the Qalandars by hitting boundaries and carrying forward a steady and fair partnership with Haris Sohail that led the team to victory.
