A lot can change. One can look at the current bowlers and see they are less for fit purpose than a bowler previously deemed not fit for purpose.

This is a bold selection. Wahab can go for a load of runs...but then so do Junaid Faheem etc. The difference is that on a flat pitch there is a slight chance that wahab can also run through a batting line up.

Our current bowling is desperate for ferocious pace.

You have to select the best options available. Wahab is a bit of a gamble but can pay dividends if he delivers.

    That was definitely 2018.

There's zero chance Wahab can through a line-up. If anything they should've went with Shinwari. Useless.

from another site, and someone's post there:

    "Junaid Averages 36 in England
    Wahab averages 96 in England

Junaid has an economy of 5.58 in England
Wahab has an economy of 6.67 in England

During the last ICC event - 2017CT - which also occured in England:

Junaid had an average of 19 and Econ of 4.6
Wahab had an average of infinity and an econ of 10

    In the last 4 years:

Junaid Averages 34 in 24 ODI matches
Wahab averages 50 in 22 ODI matches"

this is total and utter insanity.

I'll make it clear. In my eyes he has the potential to be less shit than Faheem and Junaid.

One of the reporters said Mickey didn't want Wahab back. He wanted to keep Faheem. But Sarfraz wanted Wahab and Inzi sided with him.

Maybe he wanted Wahab back after seeing how ineffective the other bowlers were.

It's a total gamble but i would have preferred if they gave a chance to Musa or even Rauf.

No, I would say he has the potential to be much better than Junaid and Faheem.
I just don't see those 2 doing well. Wahab has better skills than both when he is in rhythm. His yorkers and bouncers are second to none when on point.
No idea what Junaid and Faheem are good at

If it was between Faheem and Wahab I totally support Sarfraz on this.

I would have taken Rauf over Wahab. They should have player Rauf against England.
