Their is stat that Pakistan in last two years have been second lowest of all teams in terms of six hitting ability, you see the other boys and they clear the fence easily it’s what T20s are about but our batsman rarely do it especially against pace.

Yes this stat is now coming into attention or rather being exposed. Can't do much about it unfortunately.

It's really Fakhar Zaman or bust at this time. Babar Azam has never been an explosive hitter and won't develop into one either. Asif Ali had been selected for that very specific role. He's not there to score a tone of runs. Just get a quick 20-30 runs to up the rate. But he's failing badly. Even an out of form Umar Akmal is more likely to get you a quick 30 of 15 than Asif.

Imad has been decent, pushed score in last few overs in last few LOI's. I expect him to do the same in T20, but the biggest issue is Asif - who is blowing hot and cold air and not giving us quick runs (20/30) to convert 140 total into 180ish total.

Inform Imad and Asif are your best bet.

PSL is around the corner, Umar will be playing for QG, if he performs well, then he will make a strong case for myself. But to be honest, he has disappointed us over and over again.

Brutal fact is Shahid Afridi remains the most deadly hitter in Pak. We have not managed to replace him.

Each time we've unleashed talented batsmen from U19s however brief their careers, but can't recall if there was any strong batting prospect on show from the previous one or lately.

The new names going around are Umair Masood and Zeeshan Malik, them two have one fifty between them in 21 FC games.

In List A everyone is king in Pakistan, if you average 15 in FC even if you are limited overs specialist you won’t go far.

Umar Akmal can easily walk into this side as he's far superior to the likes of Asif ali,Talat etc.If he does well in PSL and show better application and attitude, then he will get into WC squad.

Umair is a WK, not sure about his hitting but he is a long term WK prospect

Zeeshan Malik is quality but a top order bat.

I have my hopes pinned on Nasir Nawaz & Rizwan Hussain for a hitter, hopefully they both have a good PSL

That is true and we could really use him in T20s and even ODIs. In fact, if he decided to keep as well which he has done well in the past, he'd easily become indispensable. However, he has rubbed several people the wrong way and has some mental issues he needs to grow out of in order to start taking responsibility for his actions and performance.

Pakistani Batsmen are scared of hard ball, so you can't hit the ball never you are running away from it.

Look at any other power hitter & we will see them getting in line of the ball & then hitting it with the entire body weight going in the shot but most of Pakistani batmen try to make room by getting beside the ball there never able to put the body weight behind the shot & they are caught on the boundary.

Making room allow bowlers 2 line of attack
    1) into the body asking batsmen to improvise.
    2) bowling wide making batsmen reach for the ball.

If we watch entire SA series we will see that attacking shot mostly find fielder on the line or get the stumps rolling.

Unless they start coming behind the ball power hitting is not the Pakistan cup of tea.

Please note ones in blue moon someone will play out of the skin but that will exception not the rule.
