Pakistan One Day Cup 2018 squads announced
Will not some of these players be on tour to Eng/Ire?
So 12 players missing from squads are confirmed for English tour.
So it seems Fawad will again going to miss and Bhanja will be in the squad
No Zafar Gohar, no Zeeshan Malik and no Ahmed Bashir. All are in reserves, hope they get picked
Good players but why is there so much gap between Domestic cricket and U-19 cricket, Big players like Saif Badar, Zeeshan Malik and Umair Masood are averaging in the teens and single figures.
What’s going on?
Zeeshan & Umair haven’t got consistent chances I feel, and have been playing quite low in the order.
Similarly you saw how Saif was treated in PSL
Islamabad seems strong, in terms of batting. But good to see Sadaf for KPK
Stupid drafts format. Kills fun
Very surprised no Gohar. The guy is class! Will he be one of those forgotten talents?
i think he should seriously consider playing for Zimbabwe or South Africa
Where is Nabi Gul, Ghulam Mudassar, Saif Badar, Zeeshan Malik, Umair Masood, Ibtisam, Saifullah Bangash, Hassan Mohsin, Musa, Jaahid Ali, Imran Butt, Umar Siddiq, Salman Irshad?
All of these players have star qualities but they arnt picked for some reason and instead we have to watch Rameez Jr who can’t bat and truddlers galore.
Can’t fit them all in. Haven’t even heard of most of them.
Good players. All of them.
Are Saif Badar and Saifullah Bangash good players? Saif was mediocre in PSL, while Saifullah is hilarious with the bat
You just need to watch Saif take his stance and immediately realise he has something about him, his shot making is class as well. Saifullah is more of a pure WK but his batting isn’t completely ‘hilarious’ as he’s given decent contribution and for KK to select him he must have had something about him.
Saif was treated badly by Malik who has never really supported any youngster, no big team is afraid of Malik because it’s a forgone conclusion that he will fail against them.
Saif was too soft in the PSL, he needs to work on his game and toughen up mentally but when you make someone bat at 6/7 constantly they won’t perform.
Lots of TTFs.But looking forward to see Rizwan Hussain,Saud Shakeel and Danish Aziz.

Wahab Riaz to sit out of the Pakistan Cup 2018
Pakistan pacer Wahab Riaz who has been in the news following his non-selection in the national team has now been ruled out of the Pakistan Cup. The fast bowler has to undergo a nose surgery and that has ended his hopes for participation in the upcoming tournament. Riaz has had trouble with his nose for a while now and recently the doctors advised him to get it operated.
The surgery is expected to be carried out on April 28, 2018. Following the procedure, the pacer will have to rest for at least two weeks before he returns to the field. Thus he will not be in a position to play the Pakistan Cup, the domestic one-day tournament that ends on May 6. Earlier he was excluded from the Test squad that will travel to the United Kingdom where they play a series first against Ireland and then England.
Wahab miffed on being excluded from the Test squad
Riaz was clearly fazed after the squad was announced and his name was missing from the sheet. “If you look at my performances in domestic cricket or during the last Test match for Pakistan, you will see that I have performed well,” Wahab said while talking to media.
He said that he is doing everything to be eligible for selection however if he is still not picked there is little he can say about the decision.
“As a player, I am doing what needs to be done [to get selected], I am in no position to say anything about it. As a player, my job is to perform. Overall, I have performed in Tests whenever I’ve played and given my best. In terms of the wickets column, I think I will be on the top,” he said.
“Tour of England has never been an easy one. Even in previous tour, in the first Test it was Misbah’s hundred that was important and last one we won was due to Younis Khan’s double hundred,” he said.
There is no one from Sindh to lead the Sindh team or KPK to lead the KPK team. All captains are from Punjab. This is too much. What is so special about Umar Amin.

50 for Shehzad now
Bismillah Khan 6 away from his century
100 off just 98 balls for Khan

201/2 off 32.4, Big score on the cards here.
Punjab has got such a toothless bowling attack.
Shehzad run out on 95
251/3 after 40
Runs galore here.
Balochistan finish on 365/3
Nawaz 83 off 55
Ramiz Raja Jnr 51 off 36
Bismillah Khan was treated unfairly by Quetta.
He was a three in one option for Quatte gladiators.
Decent start from Punjab in the reply
53/0 off 8.
Sahibzada Farhan 18*
Zain Abbas 30*
Televised in the UK?
Highly doubt it
Currently 152/1 in the chase off 23 overs
M Rizwan 26*
Same goes for Balochistan, lol.
Farhan is damn impressive in the 50 overs format. Should be selected for the next ODI series.
Such flat pitches are required in domestic cricket. This will help in finding good bowlers.
Punjab cruising in the chase
108 off 82 required
