The Pakistan cricket team departed for England in the wee hours on Tuesday, to participate in the upcoming ICC Cricket World Cup 2019.

The squad under the leadership of skipper Sarfraz Ahmed will reach London via Dubai later today. The Pakistan cricket team is scheduled to play three warm up games against Kent, Northamptonshire and Leicestershire before facing hosts England in a five-match One-Day International (ODI) series and a Twenty20.

The side would then begin their World Cup campaign from May 24 onwards, facing Afghanistan and Bangladesh in warm up games, before clashing with the West Indies in their opening match on May 31.
