17 Total Tests that have ended with a result after the first day saw no play. Seven such Tests have been played since 2000; the last two being between England and New Zealand in 2013, and India and Australia in Mohali in 2013.

8.11 Pakistan's run rate during their chase of 90. They scored 92 runs off 11.2 overs. This is the best run rate in Test history for any team batting at least 10 overs. No team had previously scored at a run rate of more than eight.

2 Number of times Pakistan have beaten Sri Lanka by 10 wickets. The only team Pakistan have beaten by a 10-wicket margin on more occasions is England, who have faced this fate three times. This is the first instance of a visiting team beating Sri Lanka by 10 wickets at home.

The best-ever bowling figures for a Pakistani legspinner, or any bowler, is Abdul Qadir's 9 for 56 against England in Lahore in 1987.

9 Years since Pakistan have beaten Sri Lanka in Sri Lanka. This last happened in Kandy in 2006, when Pakistan won by eight wickets. Since then, Pakistan had lost five and drawn three Tests in Sri Lanka.

Masood is the fifth Pakistan batsman whose maiden Test hundred has come in the fourth innings of a game.

2 Instances of Pakistan scoring 300-plus in the fourth innings in a successful run-chase. Their best is 315 for 9, against Australia in Karachi in 1994, while in Sharjah last year they made 302 for 5 in just 57.3 overs against Sri Lanka. Their best in the fourth innings of a Test is 343 for 3, in a drawn game against South Africa in Dubai in 2010.

5 Wickets for Imran Khan in the Sri Lankan second innings, his first five-for in Tests. Before this innings, he had figures of 9 for 356 in four-and-a-half Tests. Imran's five-for also ends an incredible sequence by Junaid Khan - the last five five-fors by a Pakistan fast bowler against Sri Lanka were all by Junaid.

2006 The last time Pakistan won a bilateral series in Sri Lanka before today. They had won a three-match series 2-0 on that occasion, but lost three consecutive series after that.

55 Pakistan's win margin in this match in terms of the number of balls remaining - their fourth-biggest against Sri Lanka in ODIs. Their biggest win against Sri Lanka in terms of balls remaining came in 2012 in Dubai, when they won with 169 deliveries to spare. The 40.5 overs they took to chase down the target in Colombo, though, are thesecond least they have taken to successfully chase down any target of 250 or more runs in ODIs.

9 Fifty-plus stands by Pakistan's openers in ODIs in 2015 - the most for any team. Pakistan's first wicket averages 57.26, which is the highest for any team in 2015. Pakistan's openers have added 1088 runs in 19 innings, including four hundreds and five fifty stands.

41 Balls Pakistan took to make 50 runs in their innings; this was their second-fastest fifty against Sri Lanka in ODIs since 2001. Their fastest came last year in Hambantota, when they made fifty in 40 deliveries.

2006 The last time before this match that Pakistan added 50 or more runs for each of their first two wickets against Sri Lanka in ODIs. Overall, there have been 12 such instances for Pakistan against Sri Lanka.

7 - Number of wins for Pakistan on the tour of Sri Lanka - two in Tests, three in ODIs and two in T20Is. It is their highest on a bilateral tour to Sri Lanka - in 1994 they won six: two Tests and four ODIs.

174 Pakistan's score, their third-best in a successful chase in T20Is. Their two higher ones were 178 for 2 against Bangladesh in Pallekele in 2012, and 176 for 8 against Zimbabwe in Lahore in 2015.

1 - Number of times, out of eight instances, when Pakistan have won a T20I after losing five wickets for 50 or fewer runs. Today was the first such instance, as they recovered from 40 for 5 to win. In all T20Is, there has only been one instance of a team winning a T20I after being five down for fewer runs - Hong Kong won a game against Nepal despite being 21 for 5, but they were only chasing 73 for victory.

46 - Anwar Ali's score, the highest by a No. 9 batsman in a T20I. The previous best was 41, also against Sri Lanka, by Sohail Tanvir, who came in at No. 10 today.

270.58 Anwar's strike rate, the highest for a 40-plus score by a Pakistan batsman in a T20I. It's the fifth highest by a batsman from any team for a 40-plus score.

4 Sixes that Shahid Afridi struck in his 45 off 22, the first time he has struck more than three sixes in a T20I innings. It's also the first time he has faced more than 15 balls and scored at a 200-plus strike rate in a T20I.
