Fitness test of Pakistan team for WC is completed.

Mohammad Rizwan is fittest player of the team, who scored highest (20) in YoYo test.

Sarfraz and Amir also cleared the test and scored 18 each.

Imad, Yasir, Abid and Hasnain failed to meet the benchmark of 17.4.

I can understand Abid and Hasnain are new to this level, but its a shame that Imad and Yasir still struggle with their fatness issue at this level.

Imad never looked in good shape to me, and same goes for Yasir, because both possess potbellies, which is a shame for a professional athlete - their fitness is a disgrace at this level...

theres no point of having the test if they are not going to stick with the results. I would imagine this shoudl mean Imad has lost his wc space, in which case, he bloody well deserves it. instead of concentrating on massively gay celebrations and parathas, maybe he should focus on his career. these guys are utter idiots.

of course, the mcb probably will rest him in a few days and miraculously he will have passed it. unless he has an injury, given he has failed these tests before, there is no excuse.

Potbelly is a shame for any youngster let alone a professional athlete.

    Apparently is not in Pakistan.

On contrary, you know what amazes me the most? Skinny dude with potbelly, I mean seriously, how the hell it can happen (but it happens).

I have seen muscular guys in gym with great figure but potbellies.

I would rather be lean with no belly than big muscles and popping out belly lol

Man i have developed this very bas habit lately mostly because of my working hours. I wont eat anything for like 18-20 hours n then have a massive meals followed by fruits/dry fruit like consuming almost all 2000 calories at one time.

Really annoying and cant get rid of this habit

Bro, that a lot of food in very short time, you need to distribute your intake equally. Also, this way you will feel good and energetic throughout the day.

I take good breakfast in the morning, then munch some nuts around 11:30, then take lunch around 1:00, then take a fruit around in between 3/4 so that by time I hit gym (usually around 6) I have enough energy. And then around 7:30 take last meal.

Does this mean Abid and Hasnain are going to be selected for the WC if they pass?

if its injury, fair enough, but not sure how many people believe its an injury. dont think you can get an injury from ingesting too much.

One of the reason is due to an EXTREME lack of talent in country, and shortage of quality players.

Many of these guys know that they are already part of the team, they can't be easily replaced, board has already invested millions in them and now it's hard to discard them - so they don't give a crap about staying fit or not.

Once there is a sword hanging on their head that they are scared to know that they can be dumped anytime for smallest of short comings, then watch them how they stay alert of everything, including their fitness and attitude.
