Kicks off with the North London derby. Can't remember one being as big as this in recent years.

@chandtara I see you've been into football more than usual, recently. Off topic but who do you support?

Whoever wins in the North London derby today will either end 2nd or win the bpl. I'm vouching for Spurs to win today.

Iv always been in to my football, I actually have always played football over cricket top up until this day! If you look back through the threads here you will see I was involved quite a bit but il admit iv neglected this section from quite some time. Just trying to get the interest going again and get the discussions rolling. Not just football though, other sports too.

Going back to the football, Arsenal are on a bit of a bad run at the moment but saying that Spurs also lost midweek too. Both teams looking to bounce back. I think it will be a cracker

@Passionate Pakistani and @Prince Pathan big game for the gunners today, do you think you can get something out of this game?

@ehtesham how many will you put past Villa today? 5 at least?

@Geordie Ahmed not heard from you for a while. Massive game at the bottom for Newcastle. Nothing more than a win surely today?

Spurs-Arsenal will most probably be a draw. At least that's what I would like to see.

    City to win 3-0.

Big clashes between Arsenal n spurs fans outside stadium.

You talk about why are we emotionally attached to sports. For majority of British folk it is like a religion.

Big result for Spurs, they are 3 points ahead of us right now with a far superior goal difference. We have bottled it when it mattered most. Probably end up finishing 4th and Wenger needs to go at the end of the season. If you cannot win the league ahead of Leicester and Spurs for a team like Arsenal you truly have lost it

Alexis was 11 without a goal.
That is our problem, our two top scorers went on a 11 and 10 game goal drought. You need to look at this logically. Giroud has been our top scorer this season, while he was scoring we were winning, when he has lost form we have been losing. Does that not tell you how important his contributions are to the team? If he does not score what is stopping others from scoring?

You call Giroud mediocre fine, but what is your defence for this? Alexis is a world class footballer so if he does not score it is ignored? He cost 40 million almost, while Giroud cost 12 million. There is a massive difference in price.

Walcott gets paid 140K a week to do what? I understand you keep mentioning Giroud because you know I rate the guy as a footballer and for some reason anything I say seems to piss you off but you are not being logical in your criticisms.

Yeah last 2 games as far as I can remember but that is understandable he is off form. Annoyingly enough for Joel Campbell, Theo came back from injury and ruined our attack. Wellbeck is a far superior footballer in attacking and defending. He does the job well. Theo is put on the wings and just stands there.

Theo was non existent against us last week. Selling Welbeck to you I still don't understand. His work rate is second to none.

Nah . Leicester also have hard games.. and all ot them come at end of the season. Still far from over.

Leicester have to travel to chelsea, everton and united.

Spurs also have to travel to chelsea ..and then they host united and play away agaibst stoke and soton.

City away to chelsea.. home v united and arsenal

    Arsenal away city and everton..

I would still say City will win it.

Last time Liverpool were like 9 points ahead with 4/5 games left and City won

Same happened with united as well I think, when city won on gd.

Non existent in general, have disliked the guy for over 6 years lol but we are a hub of mediocrity. When Liverpool wanted him for 20 million that is when we should have gotten rid of him but instead they got Sterling well that was an upgrade. Theo+40.1M for Suarez would have been a bargain

lol @Prince Pathan biased analysis ... in fact double standards ... at one hand he moans about theo while at the other hand he hails giroud as the second coming of henry.. lol

and before you speak about alexis with 11 matches without goals.. alexis is a winger not a striker and he came back from injury .. and with player like alexis, you can let him off for poor performances because he can win you a game single handedly .. proven winner and a world class player.. comparing giroud to him is blasphemy.

Iam not a giroud hater, i think he is a very good player and for 10m a bargain but he is no way near world class material. i dont need assists from a striker or hold up play.. goals are all that matter when it comes to a striker

Would not mind if Leicester win the league because of Claudio Ranieri.

Fantastic manager that has never won anything of note and he well and truly deserves it. He created Chelsea' legacy only to get sacked which enabled scumbag Mourinho to get all the credit. Signed Duff, Lampard, Cole, Drogba, Cech, Makelele, Robben. Terry was brought into the team by him.
    He built their successful core.

I would love to see him as a manager of Arsenal

I think he should stay at Leicester and build a legacy there rather than move to a big club. If Leicester win the bpl this season, they could attract some big names to Leicester and even though there will never be another like Fergie - he could be the Fergie of Leicester.
