    101 in hypocrisy:

if it is, im sure he'll join most of the PMLN and PPP ex ministers and leaders in jail where they belong, like the filthy scum that they are.

I thought you didn't mind corruption when it came to PPP leaders, how come it rankles now? or do you mean you are more likely to vote for him now?

talking about sharm, thankfully the Indian people who are not brain washed corruption and genocide lovers are finally seeing the light and look to be poised to boot out a murderous ogre from leadership.

if only more of the Indians were not so besharam to support filth like that:

Microsoft to explore investment opportunities in Pakistan: Bill Gates

Billionaire Bill Gates has said that his multinational technology company, Microsoft Corporation, could explore the investment opportunities in Pakistan.

Gates expressed the desire in a letter delivered to Prime Minister Imran Khan by Dr Christopher Elias, President of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation’s Global Development Division, in a meeting on Tuesday.

He was accompanying WHO’s Director General Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus and WHO’s Regional Director for the Eastern Mediterranean Region Dr Ahmed Al-Mandhari.

the fact that dignitaries are visiting and meeting at a pace not seen before bodes really well for the country. big investors in particular are aware of the immense human capital and potential of the country, its one of the rare countries in the world with massive upside potential if it is governed well enough. in the meantime the political opposition, most media houses and the bovine public who enjoyed the crumbs and scraps thrown to them from the master's table of the previous two regimes are screaming murder at myopic self interest, and trying their best to thwart efforts which for the first time in the country's history look to benefit the masses.

Exports surge by 1.7pc, trade deficit shrinks by 5.6pc in six months

KARACHI: The country’s exports have surged by 1.7pc in the first half of the current fiscal year (July-Dec 2018-19) and stood at $11.186 billion as compared to $11 billion in the same period last year. However, it surged by 4pc to $2.06 billion in December 2018 as compared to November 2018.

After a 5.6pc depreciation in the trade deficit, the total deficit stood at $16.940 billion in July-Dec 2018-19, as compared to $17.939 billion in the same period last year.

Prime Minister Imran Khan, ever since taking charge of the government in August last year, has been formulating various strategies to overcome the rising import and current account deficit, which had touched $18.9 billion in 2017-18.

The central bank had received $2 billion from Saudi Arabia in the head of financial assistance, while $1 billion is expected to be received this month. The Saudi government had promised to give $6 billion to Pakistan, including $3 billion oil on deferred payments for the next three years. Meanwhile, the Chinese government and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) had also promised financial support to Pakistan.

Pakistan team, headed by Finance Minister Asad Umar, is also negotiating with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) to get $6-$7 billion.

The State Bank reserves stood at $7.048 billion, which are less than the import bill of two-month. Total reserves of the country stood at $13.597 billion.

The imports of the country have gone down by 2.8pc to $28.126 billion in July-Dec 2018-19 as compared to $28.941 billion in the same period last year. On yearly basis, it decreased by 8pc to $4.493 billion in December 2018, as compared to $4.910 billion in same period last year. On a monthly basis, it increased by 3pc.

The import bills had touched $55.8 billion in 2017-18, which were more than double of the total export inflows of $24.772 billion.

Hassan nisar has done a good chitrol of PTI ministers.

I think its right to critisize them. they may not be corrupt, but there has been some comical confusion going around. also, some of them are really dickhead. no better than the previous dickheads we had.

    Sorry I missed this.

@godzilla is the better guy to comment on it, but to be honest, I haven't seen much improvement yet.

When similar questions were put infront of Asad then he said that Gov is taking long term decision, so thing will take time to improve, there is not short-term solution for our economic crisis.

Look at the people he's surrounded himself with. This current setup reeeks of incompetence and Imran will have to make major changes really quickly to his cabinet and bureaucracy to save his government.

a week or so old, but an excellent discussion from both sides on much of the controversy about whether NAB is politicised and the whole status of the JIT on fake accounts. quite eye opening to see the details slice through the political lies and fabrications peddled in the press:

more excellent results affecting the biggest problem the country is facing, the economy:

    https://arynews.tv/en/qatar-to-buy-two-gas-power-plants-from-pakistan-fm-qureshi/

excellent strategy to play off Saudi/uae cohort vs turkey/qatar and have them both compete for investments into a Greenfield economy that is Pakistan after its multi decade mismanagement. in six months they have accomplished more in terms of investment interest and economic recovery than the past thirty years.

He was able to make this Gov due to people around him, if couldve become PM all by himself than he wouldve done years ago. He needed power and votes of those who are around him. And that why we also see many electables around. These electables are vital for any party to form Gov.

And as for bureaucracy, many of them are PML-N and PPP stooge, you think its a cake walk to remove them? In your face everyone asks like he's loyal and doing his job honestly, but you and I have no idea how much resistance Gov is facing by these bureaucrats. I was watching a show few days ago, wherein Asad Umar acknowledge this fact, and he also mentioned that they're working on it, but its no small task.

You cant mess of 70 years in 6 months, need time for that.

A tight slap in the face ...

PM Imran’s sister gives full money trail of her foreign property

Prime Minister Imran Khan’s sister Aleema Khanum has disclosed complete details of financial sources for the purchase of properties abroad.

Khanum, through her counsel Salman Akram Raja, issued a written statement on Friday, in which she stated that sources of her income and assets have nothing to do with any “charities with which she or any of her siblings is associated”.

Lol, no one cares, just a random geezer who laughs like a donkey has made this video, anyone can do that, also this happens everywhere where promise are made. Imran is doing good job, he’s getting used to still. In six months Imran has done a lot, if people of Pakistan think he is good then why you saying he’s not good? What’s your problem?

You need to look at your own PM first, does he even look like a PM?

And your point? Social media is full with such kind of video, so should I take this seriously or heed towards Gallup survey

You should stop worrying about Khan and start worrying about your own issues bro. Raise your voice and concern why one of your politician is thrown behind bars only because he posted a picture of Modi Ji with a begging bowl on Facebook.

    https://www.ndtv.com/india-news/tam...-morphed-photo-of-pm-modi-on-facebook-1984551

Lastly, Afghan's should be the last one to point fingers at IK, who has been extra nice with their country and gave away tons of free wheat as gift.
