    Lahore, December 29:
As per the decision taken at the PSL Franchise Stakeholder Meeting held in Lahore last month, the following players were added to the squads earlier today:

    1) Salman Irshad (Lahore Qalandars, Talent Hunt)
    2) Mohammad Taha (Karachi Kings, Emerging)
    3) Imran Khan Jr. (Lahore Qalandars, Silver)
    4) Rohail Nazir (Islamabad United, Emerging)
    5) Mushtaq Ahmed Kalhoro (Karachi Kings, Talent Hunt)
    6) Mohammad Junaid (Quetta Gladiators, Talent Hunt)
    7) Khushdil Shah (Peshawar Zalmi, Emerging)
    8) Shan Masood (Multan Sultans, Silver)

The pool of available players included unselected players from the HBL PSL Draft, players brought in through scouting and talent hunt campaigns, and players who took part in the National T20 Cup held in Rawalpindi last month.

A little information about the players:

Mohammad Taha is an U/19 batsman from Karachi, he was Pakistan's leading run-scorer at the U/19 Asia Cup last month, and made a crucial contribution in PAK U-19's win over BAN

Mushtaq Kalhoro is a pace bowler from Sukkur, unearthed from Karachi Kings talent-hunt. Is yet to play domestic; glimpse of him in the following video

Rohail Nazir is the WK of the current U-19 side, there is a lot of hype about his batting as well as he has been prolific in the U-19 domestic circuit

Mohammad Junaid is an allrounder from Quetta, has performed well in domestic, but I'm yet to see him live. Locals will be happy with his addition

Salman Irshad is a pace bowler from Azad Jammu & Kashmir, he did well for LQ in their Rising Stars tour to AUS and was picked up by an Australian club immediately. He picked back-to-back 5 wkt hauls, and was also praised by Ian Pont. Haven't seen him live, but sounds promising

Khushdil Shah is a 22 y/o hard hitting batsman from Peshawar, who played the PSL final last year. Since then, he has racked up some decent scores in domestic

I think everyone knows who Imran Khan Jr & Shan Masood are :p
