Day 3 was about England pulling the odds back into their own favour. Despite Misbah and Sarfraz scoring around 50 runs each, Pakistan still lost 7 wickets for just 143 runs.
England then spent the rest of the day eating into Pakistan's near 100 run first innings lead. Not a single English wicket fell and the Pakistani bowlers looked to be totally out of ideas. England ended Day 3 on 120/0 having obliterated Pakistan's lead for no loss.
Pakistan's Sarfraz ended the innings on 46* and didn't look to be in any trouble at all. He looked like he could have scored a lot more but he ran out of partners again. It's time Misbah and Co. looked beyond the fact that Sarfraz is a keeper and noted that he's one of the best batsmen in the side.
He needs to bat in the top 5.
