Our famous brittle batting, on a disintegrating pitch... whats the consensus?

They're gonna go into their shell.. Suddenly accelerate get to close to the total... Will collapse and then the tail will save the match by late tuk tuks.

    We've already hit the ceiling.

Its going to be a painful chase...probably a repeat of the final day in the third test in England last year. Hope I'm wrong.

Anything under 300 is a piece of cake.

The pitch is not as difficult as people are thinking. If Pakistan can't chase 200 on this pitch in almost a day then we don't deserve to win this game. I think we will win by 6-7 wickets just after tea.

I think it's definitely gonna go down to Sarfraz & Shadab... If not lower.

Even our non cricketers have become minnow minded. 200 is a piece of cake. Be confident chaps.

The lead is 183 and they've got their last pair out there out of which Bishoo is the one who can score a few more.

Unless Gabriel comes out swinging and actually middles a few it can be anyone's guess. There would be more of a chance to get Gabriel's wicket than Bishoo.

So it can be 200 or 190 that Pakistan would be chasing in about 70-80 overs which should be achievable anyhow but we all know how Pakistan can make it look like 300 chasing 200.

If the openers can stay till lunch and get around 40-50 in 20 I'll take that as long as they both are there till lunch.

After that they can pace their innings a bit better and up it too as we can't afford to keep playing maidens after maidens like we have seen so far in the 2 tests.

Its not the opposition that's the problem...its our pathetic mental state/weakness that is.

Apparently these days even chasing 50 runs is a monumental task to complete.

Same was said about the ODI team, i.e. 'we won't even score 200 without Misbah etc. etc.'

Our ODI batting has improved after his retirement and the wheels won't come off in Tests either. It is not about Misbah, it is about the fact that we keep getting exposed outside UAE/Asia. That won't change when Misbah leaves, so those who think that Misbah is holding this champion team back need to think again.

It work both ways.. so those who think misbah has made this team some special team are also wrong. We will continue to do well on dubai highways and struggle on pitches with even little help.
