Earlier, Lahore Qalandars posted 133 runs at the loss of five wickets in their innings against Karachi Kings. Qalandars skipper AB de Villiers was the top-scorer for the side with 33 runs off 32 deliveries, featuring two fours and one maximum.
Gauhar Ali was sent back to pavilion on 4 by Imad Wasim, after he got caught by Mohammad Amir inside the circle.
Iftikhar Ahmed claimed the big wicket of Fakhar Zaman on 18 as Zaman tried to skip down the wicket but only managed to slice it to be caught by fielder at point. Iftikhar again made the breakthrough when he bowled Haris Sohail on 20.
Umer Khan stumped Corey Anderson on 22. Mohammad Amir claimed the all important wicket of AB de Villiers after he got caught by Umer Khan on 33.
