If BCCI privately wanted a window for IPL they would have got it.They got one for CLT20

Pakistani players will decide if they want to play IPL or not.English players have decided they want to play and their Players association has let it known to ECB.Thats why ECB has requested BCCI for a shorter IPL.

If you are talking about fixing

Indian/Pakistani/Saffer/Aussie/Windian All players have been caught doing it.Why single out India?

Totally expected. They say "where there's money there's muck". Going by this, the IPL is a pile of dog s**t. Its pretty obvious there were going to be fixing going on especially since its in the bookie capital (India). The most surprising thing is why it took 6 seasons to find this

What the media in India is doing is what I call hate. They somehow manages to link every event to Pakistan....

This is how lost you are.

Latit Modi was done for corruption. He's been trying to clear his name ever since!

Rest of your post was irrelevant.

BUT - there are more Indian players banned for fixing than from any other nation.

    Enjoy! : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_cricketers_banned_for_match_fixing

I wonder why more Indians get banned for corruption than any other nationality.

PS: The list does not include Sreesanth, Ajit Chandila and Ankit Chavan.

Get this, BCCI doesn't regulate the IPL (detaching itself from a criminal and corrupt league) BUT the BCCI will pocket money from IPL sponsors.

BCCI – Board Of Corrupt Cricket International.

The casual nature of the discussions that these players have with the fixers. .. (ie the fact that the transactions are done like it's no big deal)... is the smoking gun for me to show that its very prevalent even now and was rampant in the past.

Maybe we should start looking at what a bowler is doing at the start of a run up when he concedes over 10 runs in an over. ..

Are there any "signals" being made to the fixers. .. :)

    This is getting ridiculous.

Bookie arrested is former Royals player

One of the bookies arrested, and named as Amit Kumar, is actually Amit Singh, a former Rajasthan Royals player who was released by the franchise last year.

ESPNcricinfo has learned that Singh, a fast bowler who played in several matches in the 2012 season, was picked up for questioning five days ago but was formally arrested on Thursday in connection with the spot-fixing case that also allegedly involves three current Royals players. Singh, 31, has been identified in the first information report (FIR) as "Amit Kumar r/o Ahmedabad, Gujarat".

Neither the police nor the BCCI nor the franchise seems to have realised Singh's status - possibly because of the confusion over his name.

Singh, who resides in the Bopal suburb of Ahmedabad, played 23 IPL games for the Royals between 2009-2012. He was also part of the Gujarat Ranji Trophy team in the 2012-13 season, last playingagainst Saurashtra. He'd been in the news for having been reported twice for a suspect action during the 2009 IPL.

this IPL convo is getting silly... the grudge is not because Pakistanis are not playing - I'm relieved for that, but every true cricket lover has an issue with the IPL because it has bastardised the game.... it has ruined temperaments and priorities for young cricketers, lost money for international boards, and made stars out of mediocre players. Everything from the cheerleaders, to the 'coke rain' and 'dlf maximum' and beyond, is an absolute abomination of the once great game. Indians think this is marketing - it's not, it's over-exposure, over-commercialism, and is not keeping 'crickets best interest at heart.

Azhar and Jadeja and Malik all have be acquitted by courts.

If your PCB had the guts to implement the Justuce Qayoom report your entire team woukd be banned.

BCCI had the guts to ban everyone named by CBI or now Delhi Police.

At least they didnt make the presumption that they were infallible, that despite 99% of bookies being indian no indian player would ever be involved.

Indian players were caught in 2000.Banned.

Heck someone was caught fixing in a Galli league and Banned.

No one said Indians cannot be involved.

Because we dont hide our criminals like certain boards do.

Thats your theory.Which means ZILCH.You know ZILCH.Now keep beating that drum here or wherever you want still the result will be ZILCH.

Because 3 players fixing doesnt mean whole league fixed.

But ofcourse knowing you,you will keep vomiting the same stuff which will mean ZERO again.

Btw Last time you predicted Indian economy will go bust. What happened?

Anyways i have entertained enough of your trollish posts.

    Stop getting all senti.

Fixing means the IPL is corrupt.

Now come back in 2014 when the next spot fixing scandal is exposed - that's if the IPL is still around.

Lalit Modi is living in London under Asylum of the UK Govt.He is a wanted man in India. But please tell when was he accused of match fixing.

Money Laundering/Bribing is not Match Fixing. But then again that may be too subtle a difference for you to understand.

Fixing means Pakistan cricket is corrupt/English/SA/AUS/WI cricket is corrupt. So cricket on a whole is corrupt. Is not existing yet.Again something beyond your understanding.

IPL will exist because its good for cricket.Haters like you cant do anything about it,except cry cry cry and burn burn burn.Keep burning Keep Crying.

Btw Please tell me when will the Indian Economy go Bust?

Mark Waugh and Shane Warne.Worked for bookies. They said that they only supplied match related information.Never investigated or banned.Just fined.CA didnt even inform anyone for years.

    Read Justice Qayoom report....

Why were all the those implicted by it not banned?Just fined.

BCCI banned each and everyone of those who were implicted.

I still have doubts over that. Did they really have proof apart from some player statements?

Money? Video? Bookies who confessed? IIRC, then they didnt have much or any substantial proof.....
