Lukaku to Utd more or less done for 75M. Crazy money once again.
Decent player with age on his side. Hope he can start showing a bit more energy from next season as that is a big area where he lacks. Proven goalscorer in the division

Arsenal have done well to bring in Lacazette for 46m.

Couple of decent signings made by Pep too.

Everton have done most of the deals so far though. Showing intent already and now have secured Rooney on a free too. Interesting times for the Goodison faithful.
Whereas Klopp and co on the other side only have the Salah signing to shout over at the moment.

Champions Chelsea also have been pretty quiet although a number of players have been sent out on loan once again.

I think the transfers will start to come in now thick and fast with the new season approaching

Paris Saint-Germain will learn in the next 24 hours if they have succeeded in hijacking Manchester City's move for Dani Alves, according to the Daily Mirror.

The right-back is set to reveal his decision to the clubs on Tuesday, with his former Barcelona manager Pep Guardiola said to be hopeful that City will be Alves' next destination after leaving Juventus.

Tottenham midfielder Eric Dier is one of Man Utd's two main targets, Sky Sports News HQ understands.

Dier has four years left on his contract and it is notoriously difficult to buy players form Spurs. They do not want to sell and it is thought that only an offer more than £50m would make them think again.

Another United midfielder target is Nemanja Matic but Chelsea are reluctant to do business with United after what happened with Romelu Lukaku

Man City bowed out of the chase for Dani Alves after they discovered PSG were offering almost double what they were willing to pay, believed to be a total of £25m in wages (£230k a week) during a two-year deal.

Sky Sports News HQ understands Pep Guardiola was keen to rekindle his relationship with Alves, having worked so successfully with him at Barcelona, but were only willing to pay the defender around £6m a year (£115k a week).

City believed they had a deal agreed and Alves was due to fly to Houston with the rest of the City team on Monday, but over the weekend, PSG contacted Alves’ representatives and gazumped Guardiola’s agreement.

The Brazilian is expected to be paraded at PSG’s latest signing at a media conference in the French capital later today.

Chelsea have been offered the chance to sign Borussia Dortmund forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang for £70m, according to Sky sources.

The Blues missed out on the signing of Romelu Lukaku to Manchester United and have now turned their attentions to other targets, including Real Madrid forward Alvaro Morata.

However, Sky Sports News HQ understands AC Milan are already in talks with Dortmund over a deal for Aubameyang, while Paris Saint-Germain are also interested.

The striker was released by the Old Trafford side at the end of the season, but could make a return once he recovers from a knee injury.

Man Utd have stepped up their efforts to sign Ivan Perisic, Sky Sports News HQ understands, with a deal getting closer even though Inter Milan have stuck to their £48 m asking price all along.

Perisic is with the rest of the Inter squad at their training camp in the north of Italy and United are trying to do a deal before Inter fly to China next week.

United's last offer was £39 million and it is thought that need to raise that to about £45m to get their man.

Borussia Dortmund have not received any official offers for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang this summer, Sky sources understand.

Aubameyang has been offered to Chelsea for £70m and his representatives have been in talks with AC Milan and PSG. Chinese clubs – including Tianjin Quanjian –are also interested in signing him.

He was the top scorer in Germany last season with 31 goals but as things stand, we are being told Dortmund have not received any official bids for him.

Eric Dier is not for sale, Sky sources report, and Tottenham have not received any bids for him.

SSNHQ understands that any clubs trying to sign the midfielder are wasting their time with Manchester United interested.

Mauricio Pochettino has said he will only sell players he is happy to let go and Dier does not fall into that category with four years left on his contract.

Liverpool are working hard to improve their squad further this summer and have money to spend, according to former Reds midfielder Danny Murphy.

"My understanding is that they are trying desperately hard to improve the squad and they are willing to put quite a few pounds behind that," he told Sky Sports News HQ.

"You can't rush these things. You know as well as I know there are domino effects with transfers. It will start.

"Unfortunately because of the way the window is set up, which is nonsensical as far as I am concerned, you know things now will happen mid to late August. So there is plenty of time. I wouldn't be worrying if I was a Liverpool fan."

Prince Albert II, co-owner of Monaco, believes Kylian Mbappe will stay with the club and sign a new contract.

When asked if Mbappe will move on in this transfer window, he said:

“I don’t think it will happen. There are ongoing discussions, which suggest to me that he will stay at Monaco next season.

“The discussions are regarding increasing his salary, but he and his father understand that it’s not in his interests to go to a big club, where he will not be a certain starter.”

Liverpool's pursuit of RB Leipzig midfielder Naby Keita has been dealt a blow after the Bundesliga side effectively warned off the Reds.

Jurgen Klopp's long-held interest in the Guinea international is well known and has led to much speculation about the 22-year-old's future.

However, all summer Leipzig have been steadfast in their stance that he will not be sold and, according to Press Association Sport, they have contacted the Merseysiders to re-emphasise this.

That would leave Keita, who returned for pre-season training on Thursday, having to agitate for a move just one year after joining from sister club Red Bull Salzburg.
