Anyone remember the days of teletext? Back before anyone had any internet at home. Just the 4 channels to watch on TV. Keeping updated with the football/cricket scores on pages 302 and 340. Think this will only apply to UK members who had access to it.

The things some people take for granted now eh. Remember following many a Pakistan game through the night on teletext. Waiting for the page to refresh.

Football on a Saturday was always followed on teletext with the radio on in the background.

341 was the report page, 342 was fixtures, 344 on was country fixtures, and other internationals after.

there also used to be page 334 or something which was football gossip page.

606 was now and next for terrestrial channels, lol.

UK Thing. Pakistan hardly had any teletext. I remember one of my engineer uncle one turned it one for a minute or two using a hacked dish service.
