This seems to be the trending topic on social media these days.

So, in a nutshell, it seems to be that its copyright issues, however, I feel bad about his wife (Froggy) ...

YouTubers Shaam Idrees, wife Froggy attacked by mob in Karachi

Pakistani-Canadian YouTubers Shaam and his wife Queen Froggy were reportedly attacked on Sunday evening, during a meet and greet session at Ocean Mall, Karachi.

A video that went viral shows Idrees being shoved and pushed around by a mob right outside the mall premises. It was reported that Queen Froggy was also physically assaulted but that cannot be seen in the video.

The couple also called it an ‘organised attack’ and took to social media to share further details.

Never liked these youtubers whether zaid or shahmeer or ducky or whatever.

Seems like youtube is an easy way to esrn money and become famous. Everyone has a big enough social circle to push for videos at start.. like you can ask your friends and cousins etc to watch n share your videos. Even if you dont watch it and just click on it, it is considered as a view.

And nowadays the more lame things you make, the more famous youll become.

Depends on amount of views. Works out roughly $1 per 1000 views. It is not ‘easy’ money as ppl think. You would need to build a fanbase & many subscribers. All ad based of course.

I think they get more money if a viewer watches the whole ad that comes on when playing the video. This is why people making kids videos make money than the adult stuff. Kids just put on a video or a channel and it just keeps playing non-stop without anyone skipping the ads.

These guys rely more on ad money than the views as far as I understand the model.

I reckon it also depends on where you live. For instance, you literally dont have to do anything if you're making money from these video due to currency difference i.e. Pakistan & India etc. Also, various outlets might ask your visit for promotion and give away free stuffs and icing on cake, people will recognize you.

I watched some of these videos due to the hysteria surrounding them and it made me quite sad that people give these sort of people importance.

When I was younger elders of my family would call people working in the entertainment business as 'kanjar'.

I always found this a harsh description until I stumbled upon these youtubers. These people literally sell their self respect for money.
