Misbah to do analysis for World T20. Last time he did, him, Waqar and Danny made me :rofl
Misbah's vocabulary makes Athar Ali Khan sound Richie Benaud.
From the other thread..
In this thread.
VP just did an Ian Pont lol
I agree with WR on this. One is paid to play cricket, the other is paid to speak English on live TV. :shrug
Nobody cares about how bad Waqar's (the player) english is, but people are within their rights to criticize Waqar, the commentator. Having said that, Waqar is still better than a lot of the Sri Lankan commentators.
Sack Waqar, we need him back!
Batting collapses aren't fun without plumb stumpings, that's MEGA, and nicks in ears
He's not doing that well as coach so might just have him back as a commentator.
Time to bring back the jams, Waqar! Need a break from the english teacher (in the words of Mohammad Yousuf) that is Rameez Raja.
Waqar jams are going to be back soon with more venom this time around. )
Time to return to the commentary box, Waqar. Those legendary lines lol
Rofl rofl absolute gems
Not sure how true this is, but we may not have to wait much longer -
I think he's back!
Former Pakistan head coach Waqar Younis has signed a deal with Indian TV channel Sony to cover the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL).
The tournament which is set to begin from April 9, will feature nine teams from different parts of the country, and will consist of 60 matches over the period of 50 days.
The legend has returned in the box!
Guess whos back...la la la la...back again
Still better than the cringeworthy Ramiz Raja
raja gets ott hate needlessly.
No he doesn't. He only knows adulation and that's what he does best
In the recent tour of England. He was given the third man role few times and not once he came up with anything useful. What he came up was how Sarfraz is always active fpalm
Others were bringing in some good points but adulation champion was being the adulation champion he is
True, but he's still better than this guy, ffs, he can at least make an actual sentence
He's already come up with a gem this series lol.
When Pollard took that catch off Babar Azam, Waqar's reaction was "What a reflection" :rofl :rofl
Pretty sure he meant reflex action lool.
I don't get why you peeps are loling over this. English isn't his native language. He didn't grew up in burger land like most of you burgers
Actually he moved to Australia and tries too hard to pull off an Australian accent.
Don't most living overseas do that. It's human nature to adopt to its surroundings
Its light humour, I don't know why you're getting so sentimental about it...
I'm not. Open a thread on Raja and I'm good
He's signed a professional contract to provide match commentary in ENGLISH whilst clearly being under qualified for the job, like most commentators from Pakistan are, sadly.
