I have lost count on how many games have been abandoned so far.

Sri Lanka had 2 games abandoned of their 4 till now. Their chances are even slimer now.

I don’t know if the winner will have any credibility because mostly the World Cup has been unfair to most sides. There is no even fields. A tournament this big and important is meant to give each team all the opportunities.

It’s turning more into a Joke competition.

No reserve days even with knowing there will be lots and lots of rainy days.

It doesn’t take rocket science to figure this out. There are certain months where it rains consistently in England.

Yes it is turning out to be a huge disappointment till now. In 18 matches till day 4 matches are abandoned without a ball being bowled and 1 match was cut short to 41 overs/innings. Now the next week is also not looking good and I am sure we will see other games also abandoned. If on Sunday Pakistan v India game is washed out that will be huge blow to the incompetent ICC.

It's not just that matches are abandoned but it is screwing up the points table. We really needed the points against the weaker SL while we really needed India to beat NZ or vice versa. Both results have impacted our chances. They really need a few makeup days at the end.

Rain has ruined it big time. Such a shame Cos weather usually in June is hot and wonderful. Remember the ICC Champions trophy in 2017 and all the previous summer tournaments in England, gorgeous hot weather.

Hopefully the weather improves. It’s just unfortunate.

If you are a great and solid team, you wouldn't be worried about rain, and washed out games.

Every time you get a chance to play the game, you will most likely win to get whatever points that will set you apart.

    Only crappy teams shed tears.

It will just come down to the last three knock out games. If they go to the wire, the tournament will be remembered for a long time. If they are one-sided then nobody will care.

True overall but Pakistan beat England and if England get "upset" by another team and then two of their easy games washed out, the ICC may care more about having makeup days. Unless it ends up affecting top teams, ICC could care less.

Rain isnt in control of anyone and lets be honest, it is very unexpected weather for June in England. Those who live in England can confirm that it has never rained this much in June at least in last few years. @Fireworks11 @Mohsin @KingOfDoosra

I can find bigger jokes than this WC, like getting bundled up inside 22 overs, being selected in the squad with sole purpose of dropping crucial catches, gifting wickets to Finch of all people etc etc etc

Yeah as I mentioned this weather is highly unfortunate and unusual for June. It’s usually hot/dry every year.

When I was in the UK, it hardly ever rained in the month of June.

    This!
None of ‘em is actually worried too much about weather.
Only third class teams are crying about rain.

I look forward for these four to reach the Semis. It’s only fair.

Pakistan will beat NZ, India, South Africa, and Afghanistan. But I'm not sure about Bangladesh.

    You heard it here first.

    No.
The logic is, don't cry about your rain. Improve your game.
