Shinwari is the obvious option not Wahab.

Wahab has not been with the LOI team since the Champions Trophy 2 years back

Why not select Shinwari who has been with the team and been performing?

So that means both Junaid and Faheem are coming back.

Would definitely prefer Shinwari over Wahab. I think they are going with the yorker element.

    Why? What has he done?

    Shinwari warrants the selection.

    Yorker, bouncer and pace.

I think Wahab is a good bowler when wickets are flat. His pace can do things. He will leak runs no matter what, may as well take wickets too.
If wicket is swinging and seaming then he's useless, then you are best playing Amir, Shaheen etc.

Shinwari is a decent bowler but what lets him down is theoretically he's not very special. Not known for anything. Has a decent yorker but no extravagant swing like Amir can get when conditions are right, also lacks pace and bouncers of Wahab

I was impressed with wahab’s pace consistency in the PSL.

Unfortunately with wahab it’s normally a false dawn.

I’m not totally against his comeback. However, it really highlights the poor planning and strategy of the team management.

You don’t select Amir in the provisional squad because you want him to prove himself. He doesn’t get a chance to do so and is automatically back in the squad.

Wahab is not part of the plan for months and now all of a sudden he’s back in contention.

    What exactly is going on?!
