Not sure even Inzi would have thought this will become a master stroke for us going forward. But take a bow, Wahab! Both with the ball and with the bat. He has been inconsistent in his career but can't fault him for effort. Top guy. Champion player, brave guy! Hats off.
He has guts. Very limited performance overall in his career but in a tournament you need players with hearts and guts to take the game by the scruff of the neck and have belief.
Love the tiger attitude of Wahab. Wahab played with a fractured finger. What a Legend. Rashid Khan who. Smoked him for six and four with a cap on.
Underrated hero of this World Cup? Underrated hero of EVERY World Cup. - Players like Wahab and Amir make me feel like some of these players only want to perform when it really matters
All about the attitude. The seniors turn into timid foxes when under pressure (aka Hafeez) while Wahab goes out to counter attack. Inzamam gets a lot of flack for no good reason but he has been doing a great job with the selections except seniors (Hafeez and Malik) which I believe the coach/captain pushed for.
He gives it his all every time he wears the green shirt and that’s what fans ask for. In shaa Allah, he will be lifting the trophy on the 14th of July! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I keep watching that Wahab Six. Talk about THE MOMENT. Delivering when it matters. Rashid Khan, bowling so beautifully, no one picking him up. Out comes Wahab, cap on, who cares, on one knee and smoked it over mid wicket. One of my favourite ever cricketing moments.
Wahab, like Amir, always shows up with passion in world tournaments. Think Wahab vs India 2011 WC Wahab vs Australia 2015 WC Wahab batting vs Australia 2019 WC and all round vs Afg 2019 WC. Sooo many good performances
That was an iconic moment. We were getting bullied by the Afghan’s till he walked out and showed who is boss.
Brilliant cricketer, calm head, very passionate about his country, his death bowling is a pleasure to watch, and some of his shots are just of this World! Take a bow Wahab!
He’s had his bad moments but I love the passion he brings. The aggression is what I want to see from the rest esp batsmen Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
