Horrible here in Manchester today, Not looking good for the next few days either
Sunday should be alright?
Cant tell yet
Still too early for an accurate prediction for Sunday but it's looking OK at the moment.
Today will probably be a washout and tomorrow a rain affected game at best.
Eyeopener for ICC & ECB
They should have had reserve days.
so many washouts. this should be termed as a disaster. apart from maybe pakistan vs england game, no excitement in world cup yet.
It was very hot last year. Grass went yellow and sun was out. This is trend over past 3 years although weather is back to normal.
Casualty No. 3 BD v SL
Casualty No. 3 BD v SL
Y do we have 2 rain threads? Merge them together @Del @ASLI-PATHAN
what a joke.
One benefit of this thread is that I took umbrella in the morning, saved me from getting drenched
SL V Afg also got affected by rain
I think if Pak's all remaining games go wash out, we should accumulate enough points to qualify for the play offs. no?
Another one bites the dust - SL vs. BD also abandoned due to rain.
I said it before and will repeat it again, ICC shouldve had reserved days, didnt they have it in 1999?
If India v Pak is washed out ICC would lose MILLIONS!
I hope it is a wash out
That would be a killer blow and maybe ICC would learn to have reserve days.
I think it will be good for Pakistan. We will get 1 point. hehehehe
Next wk looks more of the same tbh
Pak Aus should be ok, very little rain predicted for tomorrow. Might even get a full game.
I guarantee you at least a quarter of people who are going on Sunday paid close too a grand or just about less for a pair. That's almost £500 for a ticket.
My mate sold 6 for £2700!
If that game gets rained off. Everyone who purchased a ticket from the Ballot and sold it after is getting more money in return.
Yes tickets are being exchanged for crazy prices. It would be a catastrophe if it’s rained off.
If tomorrow gets rained off and Sunday.
That's 3 games in a row for me where I travel from London and didn't see even a ball being bowled.
Does that mean the people who bought the tickets that were sold on just lose out ?. That's crazy, imagine paying £450 just to sit in the rain.
Regardless though. I blame the ICC. After the madness of ticket prices for the 2017 Champions Trophy Final; They really took the P*** out of fans like us and took advantage. For the Pakistan-India game they slapped on £225 for a platinum ticket.
£225 FACE VALUE for a ticket! The finals platinum ticket is £295!
Ah man. Did you receive a full refund?
Tomorrow’s match should go ahead. Let’s hope it does.
Yup. Looks like it will be a cloudy day.
Looking at this wicket, if Pak bats first, they will be probably be all out on 90 or something while Sarafaz will be left scratching his fat a$$ being in shock as he thought all teams were scared from Pakistan.
I will take one point from this game and run away .
Expecting a game. It’s clear and cloudy. Pitch is green. Get ready.
Need more fire from these opening bowlers, not enough to just restrict runs - we need 2-3 wickets in the first 15
Pitch it up you moron
Need a strong finish
This is why I tend to keep religion and sports separate.
You can't sow a lemon seed and pray to God that the tree now grow mangoes.
We need to have a reality check. This is a fuddu team that does NOT deserve to be in the play offs if we base the rating on their quality and performance.
High hopes bring high frustration - and that's why I never put Pak team over the moon.
