Sharjeel scores in 1 match out of 5 so very inconsistent. Khalid Latif has just scored in 1 t20 that's it!! Let him establish himself!! Sarfraz everyone likes him he is very good but Rizwan should be there as backup keeper in all formats to him!!

Bro I'm an ethnic Sindhi. Don't even get me started about Sindh. Like you said, no grounds, no academies, no international matches other than Karachi, except for once in a decade match in Hyderabad. Only one match was held in Hyderabad since 90s, even though Pakistan could host till 2009. And Sindh is as safe as any part of Pakistan; we're sufis and secular who don't suicide bomb and shit.

My family is a great success story btw. My grandpa was a poor man. No one had left the village, until my uncle and then dad left for Karachi. My family later moved to the US from Karachi, one uncle became a bureaucrat and another is on the board of directors for the biggest news channel. We're now called "the other waderas" in our village lol. Many others from interior Sindh have also moved to Karachi for opportunities.

I complain about Karachi because the city has players ready to play for Pakistan but most of them are ignored most of the times anyway. Complaining about lack of cricket infrastructure and initiative by PCB in Sindh is almost useless.

    152 vs Ireland ODI
    58 vs England ODI
    59 vs England T20I

Sharjeel is pretty consistent for a team so inconsistent, it's sitting at number 9.

Khalid has scored in just 1 t20. Others have failed in dozens of t20s.

Rizwan is the best fielder in Pakistan. He's a specialist 12th man, a back up batsman, and a back up keeper, so he's not going anywhere.

You do have a gift for speaking out your mind and you can be quite ferocious at times.

Where abouts in US you live? I got several relatives settled there.

Terrible team, there's 7 players who shouldn't be in the ODI team.

Sami Aslam, Azhar, Hafeez, Shafiq, Gul, Yasir and Irfan.

Where are the players who done well recently in England, Sharjeel and Hassan Ali?

They did well and team lost! Sharjeel failed in 4 innings of the odi series and clicked in 3 matches, 1 of them against Ireland. Hassan Ali was good but he was average not match-winning!! On the other end, Irfan and Gul with their experience can make an impact and contribute towards bowling out teams for less totals than we are currently conceding!

    Between them they'll bowl 14 overs 2-110.

Irfan 5 overs 2-30 and Gul 9 overs for 80.

When Irfan is fully fit, he can return to the team and I am sure he can make a lot of difference even now!! Otherwise, we must induct Sohail Khan in his place and Hassan Ali in reserves!

    As opposed to whom?

Hahaha you expect this tuk tuk brigade to chase 444 LMAO

I'd kick Azhar out first of all, and replace him with Khalid. Sami Aslam was already replaced, so Sharjeel is better.

Hafeez is finished, so I'd replace him another aggressive batsman like Shahzaib.

    So so far we have:

    Sharjeel
    Khalid
    Shahzaib

Agree with Asad, Fawad and Sarfraz who are solid yet dynamic enough to not crap their pants like chokers from a certain province once daunted with a target.

For fast bowlers, I'd prefer bowlers who can actually swing, not just carry reputation for it. Also someone who hasn't fixed or goes for 110 runs lmao.

For a spinner, I wouldn't have a test specialist like Yasir Shah. I'd replace him with a younger kid, who has a good econ. rate and strike rate. An all rounder wouldn't hurt either.

So taking all that into consideration this would be my XI:

    Sharjeel
    Khalid
    Shahzaib
    Asad
    Fawad
    Sarfaraz
    Akbar-ur-Rehman
    Sami
    Sohail
    Shahzaib Ahmed
    Mir Hamza

So? Is Karachi in India? Is there a problem if all 15 people happen to be from Karachi? With 25 million population - 1 in 7 Pakistanis live in Karachi - is it really impossible to imagine all the best cricketers coming from Karachi? Is there a quota system that says we have to have players from Punjab? If there is a quota system, why do we currently have 5 potential fixers from Lahore in the national team for 1 clutch player from Karachi in Sarfraz?

What a stupid statement to make. First of all, Afridi sucks. A tullaybaaz who wouldn't have played for 20 years in his beloved India or any other major country. So overrated. Obviously he isn't one of the Karachi players who can complain that he was ignored.

Younis has never played for Karachi. He just lives in Karachi. So we don't even take credit for him.

So Hanif Mohammad, Miandad, Zaheer Abbas, Asad Shafiq, Moin, Rashid, Sarfraz and the ignored ones like Fawad Alam, Hasan Raza, Asim Kamal etc. are all worst cricketers?

Imran Farhats, Akmals, Shehzads, Maliks, Butts, Toolboxes and all the shit cricketers and fixers who got way more chances than Karachi players are better? That's why Pakistan is at number 9?

Are you even Karachian or have you been systematically programmed that you're inferior?

Karachi cricketers have been good but none of them has been as great as Saeed Anwar - talking about 90s and 00s and current era!! Fawad Alam, Asad Shafiq and Sarfraz are decent but are still not all time greats of past like likes of Imran, Wasim, Waqar, Saeed Anwar and Shoaib Akhtar and Saqlain etc@@ Rashid and Moeen were good but they were wicket-keepers and wicket-keepers are often taken for granted in my opinion as they dont tangibly contribute to team's success like batsmen or bowlers!!
Asim Kamal was really special and next Inzamam in my opinion and great injustice was done to him just like treatment metted out to Fawad Alam currently but still he did not make it as all time great for whatever reason!!

So Karachi cricketers have to be all time greats like Imran, Wasim, Waqar, Saeed, Akhtar and Saqi? Are Imran Farhats, Butts, Akmals, Shehzads, Maliks, Hafeezs, Kukris, Azhars, Maqsoods as great as those legends? What kinda stupid logic is that? If you're too thick to get it, you select your best current players from the country. You don't wait till an Imran or Saeed shows up, genius.

Yeah I had a feeling that you hate Karachi. Where are you originally from? And why don't you go back to where you're from if you hate Karachi for whatever reason? Even if you were unfortunate enough to have been born in Karachi, have you considered moving away?

If Karachi = MQM, then Pakistan = terrorist country like everyone in the world thinks. What stereotyping. My family was assaulted in the late 80s by MQM but even I know that they don't represent Karachi. If they did, we'd have moved instead of living like ungrateful leaches and hating the entire city.

As for Pakistan murdabad slogans, it's called freedom of speech and everyone has a right to express anger. If millions of people like you can decide to live in Karachi and hate it, why can't Karachians who don't even want to be part of Pakistan express their feelings? Like I said, feel free to leave. Guggu Mundi is nice I heard. You'll have a better chance of being selected for Pakistan if you roll your arm in Guggu Mundi.

Altaf Hussain is not Lord of Karachi and nobody supports him. He is stuck to Karachi like a blood sucking leech just like Nawaz is abusing Punjab and Zardari owns the Sind.

They are criminals and crooks who have hijacked their respective people and occupied their lands through force, violence, murder and corruption.

You love Imran Khan so much, what happened to him in Punjab in last election?

Wake up and smell the coffee bro, and look at the broader picture, dont shut your eyes from the reality.

Some people feel isolated. It's easy to blame them instead of listening to their issues I guess. If one of your sons despises you, maybe you've been a bad father to him. Taali do haath se bajti hai. No smoke without a fire.

Obviously he doesn't have roots here. Millions of Afghans live in Karachi, and all over Pakistan, without a shred of loyalty. Anyway, the great news is that if you don't like a city, you can always move to another one. Unfortunately, that's not the case if you don't like a country. If you don't like a country, you must carve out your own, like Pakistan did out of India. We'd be hypocrites to call some people freedom fighters and others traitors for doing the same thing.
