When you took decision to make Misbah as Coach and his team, then you need to give them full chance to perform... You can analyze their performance so far... Ill give him 7 out of 10 for performance so far... Misbah has been able to fix our batting which was our major worry for decades... But, problem is our bowling became our problem... Bowling Coach Waqar Younus hai... Waqar also needs his full time till 2023 WC to fix bowling issues... Misbah ki performance as Head Coach analyze honi chahye aur Waqar ki as Bowling Coach.. Problem bowling mein arahi hai not in batting... Batting Coach is Younus Khan...

 

When Misbah took charge, Pakistan team was in complete disarray... Misbah has been able to fix our batting issues by bringing back Fawad Alam and by fixing Azhar Ali's confidence issues... Doosre bhi ahiste ahishte perform karne lag jayeinge.. Rizwan has been a revelation... Shaheen Afridi and Hafeez have been superb... Misbah first of all needs to find his best possible combination then other things would fall into place...

Aur agar qismat ne saath diya to we will atleast come close or finish this lead in this match... Standard is very low Bhai saab. Look at Williamson, scoring 200+, we shouldn’t be happy with 200-300 totals. We need to hit 400. We need to convert 50 into 100 and 100 into 200. Look how many batters are not firing, Shan, abid, Haris, even Fawad couldn’t save last game despite scoring 100. Batting failed last game and not failed again. We need to improve.

 

Bhai aap bowling ko dekhein 431 last game... 669 for 6 this game... Aur pure season mein bowling kitne runs concede karti aayi hai yeh bhi dekhein... Bowling is consistently conceding 400 - 600 totals ever since long time... Batting in these conditions is not easy for Asian batsmen but our batting is atleast scoring decent totals... We used to depend on our bowling in past... Our batting used to be our weakness,... But, now our batting is improved thanks to Misbah Younus but our bowling is our achilees' hill now...

Its not about getting the best player in the team the fact is that misbah has ruined the competitive mindset. When he was captain, we went the shit hole cause of defensive mindset ... now as a coach, He runs the show and the rest are puppets to follow direction. not once i saw any bowler setting up field or thinking out of the box, they were bowling to the keeper than the stumps. koi soch kuch nahi bas field set kardi hai like how we do it on cricket 2019 PS4.. he killed our traditional killer instinct when he was captain and now as a coach he has ruined decision making ability for a captain or any player. its been 2 years and by 2023 we will right at the bottom. You can see players faces, they are school boys and Misbah is their abbu

 

When you are mentally manipulated then you will never gain confidence, so they can get the best batsman or bowler in the squad but Misbah around them will ruin their confidence. I am not surprise by Bekaar Younis stupid coaching, it is PCBs fault for rehiring this failure for the 3rd time ( coach twice and now bowling coach ).. these morons are only minting money for their retirement pension. what I am surprise that YK being the batting coach and are batsmen unable to perform. I can tell you how to bat but when I have Misbah interfering in every matter than bowling, fielding, batting will never level up, hence these players are now only in the squad to survive...that is exactly the same scenario when misbah ul F*#(k was captain.

 

If I was PCB’s chief, I would’ve arranged a wild and very horny donkey, You know, Jungli Khota.

Then upon team’s arrival I would’ve arranged a female donkey to sit in a spread eagle position in font of this wild donkey so that he gets a full erection, and then I would’ve given Misbah a donkey ride of the entire city by making him sit on the Donkey’s, well not the back, but you take a guess.

A good player doesn't make a good coach and a good coach doesn't make a good player.

The likes of Waqar, Misbah and Younus are great players but that doesn't mean they can be great coaches.

We need to identify a strong head coach who can oversee the teams training and practice regime, come up with strategies and plans whilst at the same time using experienced players - such as the 3 mentioned above - in specialist roles such as batting coach, bowling coach etc.

The bigger issue for me is that I feel we put way too much emphasis on coaching and coaches.

By the time a player gets to the international level playing at the peak of the game, they should not be so heavily reliant on coaches. The coaches should simply be there from time to time to bounce ideas off of, fix particular technical issues etc. Not to teach them the fundamentals of bowling, batting, and fielding.

If the team is going to drop 9 catches in a game - that blame has to fall on the players and we cant scapegoat the coaches for not teaching the international players how to catch. They should have learned how to catch before being selected for the national team when they were playing under-11 and under-15 cricket.

Similarly, if we have a bowler who is consistently bowling no balls, wides, half trackers, on the legs etc. then you can't blame the coaches for this. The bowlers have to take responsibility for simply doing the basics wrong. These aren't things that require coaching at the international level.

Now look at Shan Masood as an example - if he is going to score 4 ducks in his last 8 innings and give away his wicket getting caught behind down the leg side - how can you blame Younus, Misbah, or any coach for this? Shan has to be held accountable for this.

I'm all for having a trained, professional head coach and I am all for using the experience of our past great players to support the current team under the guidance of the head coach. However, the players at the end of the day have to take responsibility and I am really hopeful that in the next 1-2 years we should start seeing the benefits of our players playing competitive cricket in the PSL and the new Quid-e-Azam trophy.

I think changing the format of the QeA trophy and playing competitive cricket against the best players in the country will help our up and coming players immensely inshAllah. We have wasted way too many years having umpteen number of teams and having rubbish matches such as WAPDA vs Sui Gas who no one cares about in low-class cricket, not allowing our players to develop.

Similarly rubbing shoulders and playing T20 cricket with international stars in the PSL should also help our younger players to iron out such basic deficiencies such as dropping catches, bowling no-balls, performing under pressure and giving away their wicket cheaply.

It will take time but there is no quick fix - you can try bringing in whichever coach you want, local or foreign.

Bowling inexperienced hai mere hisaab se.. Yasir Shah overseas conditions mein perform nahi kar pa raha.. Shaheen Afridi is your lead pacer.. and he is performing superbly imo.. Abbas has got some of his style back.. Naseem Shah ke liye yeh buhat bara learning curve tha ab Naseem test bowler ban gaya hai after this hardship.. Zafar Gohar ka debut tha he did okay imo..
Jis tarah Govt ko time chahye 5 yrs to deliver change isi tarah Misbah ko bhi time chahye results deliver karne ke liye imo/... 2 saal mein mulk bhi change ho jayega aur cricket bhi but pls jo hein unko retain karein... Williamson ke aage Naseem Shah bowling kara raha tha Naseem ki age 17 aur Williamson ki dekhein... Wahab Riaz ya Sohail Khan maar khaate to aur baat thi... Naseem bhi ab kaafi change hojayega is experience ke baad...

I agree at international level there is very little technically that a coach can do to improve a players’ technique.

The problem is the approach, vision and man management from our “coaches” leaves a lot to be desired.

Our thinking is muddled. Our strategy and approach is non existent and our man management is poor. The result is a lot of confused players playing in a very fearful manner.

 

Mere hisaab se batting bilkul sahi ho rahi hai... In conditions like these, these batsmen cant score more runs than they are scoring right now... And these are the best batsmen we have got... Problem lies with bowling and now fielding as well... Our bowling has been conceding 400 500 600 totals and under Misbah, we have made 3 big tours - Australia, England and New Zealand.... I am very much satisfied with team's performance so far although we have lost on these tours but Indian team also went through this as they made foreign tours... Kohli ne aur Dhoni ne jitni series haari hein foreign tours per unti kisi ne nahi haari.. But, there is no easy way to success... You have to go through the entire journey and process and our players have done the hard part... Now, its time for some easy series so that our players can gain confidence by winning something... Only, winning gives you confidence.. No other thing can provide confidence like winning does...

 

Next up is South Africa... which is not an easy team by any means but South Africa has been under decline...

Sri Lanka aur West Indies se series jeet jayeinge... Neeche se jeetna shuru honge aur phir top teams ko haarayeinge in next 2 years imo... Uper ki teams se hum shuru mein haar gaye ab humein asaan teams mileingi unko hum haraayeinge phir jab mushkil teams aayeingi to un se jeeteinge... Experience gives u success...
